Q: what are the dimensions of this fixture? 72" is length of cord and fixture combined?? What is diameter??

Q: Could you please tell me the exact bulb this uses? Type b has many bases. Some are smaller circumference.

I have had this light in my cart for over a year and I am so glad that I finally bit the bullet and bought it. It's large size and clean lines fill a room without the heavy feel of a chandelier. Plus, it's a fraction of the price of the same model from another retailer. I think the 72.5" size in the title may freighten some off, to clarify, they are actually referring to the length the light has the cabability of hanging. It is actually 40 inches in diameter. It looks fantastic hanging over our 7ft table!
