Smells terrible, like a toxic chemical
I’ve used Palmolive since I was a kid doing my family’s dishes and I’m 75 now. Never have I bought a bottle of your dish dishwashing product where it stinks so badly like some horrible plastic chemical. I really don’t even want to use it and probably wind up throwing it out. It smells absolutely toxic. I don’t even know if this is safe to use. June

HORRIBLE
THIS DISH SOAP IS TERRIBLE. IT TURNED MY CARPET BRIGHT BLUE AND NOW THE STAIN WON’T COME OUT NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I BOUGHT THIS TO CLEAN, NOT TO PERMANENTLY RUIN MY FLOOR. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE DESTROYED TOO.

Lamentablemente, este producto no es el mismo que salió en un principio, ya no limpia tan bien, ya no es tan espezo, tiene mucho colorante azul. Antes realmente cortaba la grasa de manera increíble, ahora es igual que una marca barata. Voy a experimentar con otros.

New stuff is terrible.
It was excellent. Whatever you did to it, undo. When I’m baking I keep a sink of soapy water to wash as I go, Palmolive oxy lasted through the whole thing. This new stuff doesn’t even last the ten minutes it takes to do the dinner dishes.

UPC: 827854001294 They changed and ruined the formula. Dark blue goop that won't dissolve and doesn't cut grease. I don't like the fragrance of the other brand but at least it works. This stuff is nasty. Guess I'm going to change brands.

Won't buy again
This Palmolive doesn't work well. The suds do not last and it doesn't work on grease at all. So disappointed. Was excited to try as I love the regular Palmolive.

I bought this because I remember that Palmolive was a good brand, this is NOT. Seems like the blue color is simply dye, it sticks to everywhere there is a drop of it.

New is not always better.
When the Palmolive OXY first came out I thought it was amazing. I bought some for my daughters and highly recommended it to my friends. I buy several at a time. This last bottle I got I first noticed the overpowering bright, blue color. I thought they must have changed something. It's absolutely terrible. It doesn't clean half as good as it used to. I am highly disappointed. I came to complain and find that I am not alone regarding the change in product. Goes to show something new is not always better. Looking for a different product.

Pitiful Product.
I will discontinue my use of this dish detergent. The last improvement has now ruined the product. Store brand detergent is now better than this mess. Bye Bye Palmolive!

THE SUDS DOES NOT LAST, THE GREASE IS NOT CUT. IT IS THIN. IT DOES NOT CLEAN MY DISHES. I WILL NOT BE BUYING IT ANYMORE. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE CUSTOMERS. WE CAN NOT BE FOOLED. I’ve been using this product for over 15 years and had to throw out this new formula. It smells terrible, looks like a fluorescent dye was added, and doesn’t clean as well. I’m moving to a new brand. So sad. I really loved the old formula.

Change Formula
Why did someone CHANGE THIS FORMULA!!!?? This is so Bad!! I wrote in 3 years ago how Great this OXY formula was, Better than Dawn!! Now the last 3 bottles were complete JUNK. Someone better tell Marketing to go back to original Formula!! I won't be buying this again. I'll buy Ajax, that's equivalent to your product!

what happened to the original?
i've been using Oxy for years, just bought a new bottle and i'm horrified! the color is almost inky blue, looks like poison. don't know whether it's manufacturing error and they overloaded the dye filler, or it's supposed to be like this? it also doesn't smell right and doesn't seem to clean as well. may have to look for a replacement brand. :(

Disappointing formula change 2024
Very disappointed with the new formula. Just has more dye in it. It is not as effective on grease, the suds don't last and you need to use more soap. It used to be great as evidenced by all of the older reviews. If is isn't broken, don't fix it! Looks like I will be switching back to previous dish soap which I had stopped using years ago in favor of Palmolive Oxy.

It smells awful
The new bottle is different. I don't know if the formula has changed, or if it's a manufacturer error, but I can't stand the smell and it's lighter in color (blue Palmolive with oxy). I've been using it for years. Now I need to buy different dish soap. It smells like ammonia and unpleasant old man cologne when I use it.

Awful new dish soap.
I have used palmolive for as long as I have been married. 55 years. Your new Oxy dish soap is the worst. You really screwed it up. Will be looking for a new brand. Sad.

I bought a multi-bottle package of 200% online. Thought for sure I was duped and had gotten some Palmolive fake. Came here to see if others had reported the same. So much blue dye. Horrible! And takes more rinsing than ever before. Usually keep the bottle handy on the counter-/this makes such a mess that the bottle and the counter around it is constantly in need of cleaning. Messy! We’ve been solid Palmolive customers for years but will be shopping around for a new product.
