I bought this had to wear river rafting. I like the fact that it is lightweight and doesn't make me any hotter in the sun like most hats are. I also like the fact that i can tuck in the back portion if I don't need that extra coverage on my neck.

Lightweight and roomy

I thought I would leave feedback in case other ladies are looking for a hat that they can do top bun to get hair off neck...and yet still have room in the hat where it fits comfortably. This hat has a lot of head room and nice that you can adjust for a snug fit - but what I really like is the extra fabric on top that allows for air flow and ability to have hair up. A great alternative to a baseball cap, where yes you can get your hair in a pony....but your neck is exposed. This hat is just what I wanted for hiking and fishing! Very lightweight with great ventilation!

Nice hat for gardening

I have been outside tending to my garden and it has been extremely hot and sunny. This hat has shielded my face, head and neck from the sun with the big brim and neck cape. It is big head friendly and has an adjustable strap in the back to keep it tight and secure on the head. The material is lightweight and breathable.
