Q: What s the measurement of the be when the trundle is used in total? how big should the room be? and what should be the high of the ceilings? Thank you.

  • A: Hello there, The trundle bed when fully extended measure approximately 98 inches for the far side of the bed to the near side of the trundle. The height of this bed is approximately 63.25 inches. We recommend a ceiling height of about 8 feet for this product.

Delayed Shipping & Missing Part

Just received this bed and have all the parts except for one. Company is non-responsive and will not help replace the missing part so we are very frustrated. Shipping was also delayed so now we are without a bed for much longer than planned without a solution in sight. I would not recommend this bed or company. FYI: Target was extremely helpful, but Max & Lily was not responsive to this issue.

DANGEROUS! Bottom of bed slats are too far apart my kid falls through

After spending over 6 hours putting it together - my son climbed onto the top bunk- and fell through the wooden slats because they are too far apart!!! We can't use the bed! We also purchased the mattress that was recommended- and it's approx 5"" too short so he can fall through the end as well!

Poor paint job

The bed is nice and sturdy, but the white paint has already begun peeling off 2 months after assembly. It hasn’t been used or slept in, and no pets in the house! We had started setting up the mattresses and sheets when I noticed. I’ve sent in a formal complaint and waiting to hear back from customer care.

Nice bunk bed, problem with the trundle

The bunk beds are very sturdy and attractive, perfect for our grandkids. The problem is that the trundle is too tight a squeeze under the bottom bunk. We bought a 6 inch mattress, which is as thick as specified (can't get anything thinner anyway). But we can't slide the trundle underneath the bottom bunk. It squeezes us the facing board, but half-way in it hits the metal cross beam that runs the long way from head to foot. I'm going to have to extend the heights of the legs of the bunk bed to make this work. Grrrrr!

Terrible Finish

The bed is very sturdy but the finish of the wood is awful! It is very rough and uneven. There is overspray all over the bed and trundle.

Good and sturdy bunk bed but finish is not great

I got this bunk bed for my three little grand daughters. For a while I looked for a bunk bed that is not too big and the steps to be on the end (so it won’t take too much space.) Finally I found this bunk bed which is very sturdy and built right. BUT the finish lacks the perfection. It seems the pieces of woods were just painted with one coat of paint without being even sanded off to have a smooth surface. It feels very rough and scratchy if your legs or hands touch it. I wanted to return it but it took me and my handy man a whole day to put it together. Because of this I removed 2 stars. However, the delivery was fast and quite impressive.

Sturdy & functional!

This is a great bunk. It looks just like the photo and is sturdy and functional! My only dislike is the view from the underside - you can see the slats and linens from below.
