A: I wrap by bar in wax paper, simple and stays great, bar lasts me 3 months.

Something about this shampoo just did not agree with my hair unfortunately. I used it a handful of times and my hair was falling out in clumps. Disappointing since the whole reason why I bought it was to improve hair density. Had to go back to my old shampoo and throw this one away in an effort to save my hair. May work for some, just did not work for me.

I was really excited due to all the great reviews this product had. I bought the shampoo and the conditioner bar and used them for over a month. It took a while to get used to the bar concept but I finally got over it. Used the entire bar of both - conditioner ran out first- without any noticeable improvement in my hair. Cleans okay, but did not leave my hair softer and certainly no thicker or extra volume.

I really like that it lathers up well on my hair, but would like it better if it helped to ease my very intense itchy scalp. I have been using this product with the conditioner to get the full experience. Would prefer that something with rice water, to have moisturizing properties that actually helps with a dry scalp. Yes, it makes my hair feel nice for a little bit with fullness, softness and shine, but it does not help my scalp at all.

I finally got around to purchasing this product after eyeing it for years. I have a lot of very fine hair, and I’ve recently noticed my hair has become too used to my Ouai products over the past few months. This shampoo bar + conditioner combo instantly restored my shine and moisture, plus it’s way more sustainable & cost effective for a better result. Smells nice & my hair is very happy!!

This is the only bar shampoo/conditioner I’ve ever used, so I’m not sure if it’s all bar shampoos/comditioners or just the kitsch rice water, but this has been a miracle product for me. I’ve always lost tons of hair in the shower (for as long as I can remember), and just thought it was my normal. However after menopause it got even worse to where I was losing fist-fulls of hair every wash day, and I was on the verge of talking to my doctor about it. On a whim, before a very long overseas trip and due to luggage space/weight limits, I decided to give bar shampoo and conditioner a try. That was 3 kitsch bars ago and my hair has stopped falling out! I still have a hard time believing it. Obviously, some hair still comes out on wash day as is normal, but I’m no longer losing fist-fulls of hair. Not only that, but my wavy hair is so much softer and easier to manage. I know every product won’t work for everyone, but I highly recommend at least giving this product a try.

I used this product for about a week. It stripped my natural oils away and lost more hair compared to the usual shampoo I have used. I'm disappointed because the bar is a lot smaller than I imagined. Overall, it's expensive and doesn't last long. You can find cheaper brands that's rice water based or you can even use your own rice water @ home.

I’m glad it worked out for everyone else. However for me, from the very first wash, I was not impressed. It made my hair so lifeless! It flatten my hair, made it feel kinda greasy rather than moisturized. Only good thing about this was that it lathers up pretty well. I bought the shampoo, conditioner and the soap holder, and ended up returning it all. Not worth keeping!

I wish I could give zero stars. I've used this shampoo bar and the conditioner about five times and my hair is now so dry! Just awful! My hair is tangled and is starting break. I also see more shedding than I had experienced previously . I threw both away.

I purchased the Rice water shampoo and conditioner. I shower twice a week with it. it feels great. the holder i got free won't stay up on the shower wall. The body bar is okay. however if i use the dark spot remover bar my skin dries out horribly.
