This seems like it is very weather-proof, as it is made with a flexible plastic-like material. The only thing that I would change would be the brightness. I would have liked this to be a little brighter to be more functional as opposed to decorative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lantern itself is very nice and goes well with essentially any kind of outdoor style. The instructions were easy to follow although, there were a couple of areas on the lantern that were a little confusing. First- the on/off switch. There is no real distinction in the height of the button once your press it, so you won’t know until nighttime whether the thing is on or off. Secondly- there is the “try me” button that is attached via a wire that hangs from the underside of the lantern cover. Since it’s hot glued on, it’s hard to tell whether you’re supposed to remove it or not. It’s kind of an annoying addition and ruins the overall aesthetic of the lantern.

I was surprised when I opened the box at just how big it is. It states that it's not water resistant, which I found odd since it's an outdoor lantern. But other than those things, it appears to be a quality product!
