HORRIBLE RECIPES

I am just not a fan. I first tried the recipes in the included book and the vanilla and chocolate leave a nasty fatty film on the roof of your mouth, and the pint that I had to respin actually had chunks of butter in it from the cream turning to butter. I know the sorbet recipes will be good, but finding a basic vanilla recipe that doesn’t leave a greasy film on your spoon shouldn’t be hard. I’m glad I didn’t throw my traditional ice cream maker away.

Only OK

I bought the first one and it had an issue. After about 5 differnt instructions from Ninja they sent me a new one I havent opened yet. What I can tell you is that the machine is heavuy, has multiple steps to go tjru befor you acually get your ice cream or frozen trea and even then the machin only makes one pinta at a time. There is no reason they couldn't increase the volumes with a few changes.

Bad ninja swirl by creami

It doesn't work; it makes a loud noise as soon as it's plugged in, turns on by itself without pressing the power button, and has an error message on the screen that won't go away. It's a total disappointment.

Its cool

I got this as a gift for my roommate and after we got some long drawn out issued resolved and I was about to give him his gift way late he was sooo happy. Its nice to see a grown 40 something yound man smile and feel like a kid again. We've made so many different styles and flavors. I think his favorite part is pulling the lever for the soft serve to swirl out. Yeah its loud and sort of expensive but aren't we all at times. Its still fun to make type own soft serve at home

Happy Dance!

I love soft frozen yogurt and I'm questioning my sanity as to why I didn't purchase this sooner. Having a great time experimenting with flavors and looking forward to the continued use. I hesitated on the purchase because I was afraid of the space it would take up but it's really not that bad. Once you get the hang of it, easy to use. Wish it wasn't so loud but sometimes sacrifices must be made for enjoyment. Thanks Ninja!

Game Changer

I brought it a few days ago and i am loving the machine. I have read some less than flattering reviews about how it does not freeze the mix. However i think people are missing the point. For example i have a number of fruit trees in my yard and while after diner it is okay to eat an apple for desert when you make it into a sorbet it adds a whole new dimension of desert. now i have tried to make sorbet before and it always ends up grainy and icy. With the Swirl i got a couple 0f apples off the tree cut out the bugs and run through the blender. Filled the tubs and then put it in the freezer. next night run it through the swirl. it was fantastic! smooth ,rich ,creamy to the tonged and super refreshing. All very easy and made just from apple no sweetener great for calorie counting and desert for the week so good so easy to get such a professional product. If i had any issue it would be nice if it came with 6 tubs rather than the 2 Tubs.

We bought our machine December 1 and it's been so much fun. Eat ice cream every day. The high protein ice cream is my favorite. You can maintain your weight and have ice cream that is nutritious and delicious!

Feature packed: but has bugs and bad hardware.

In less than a few weeks the motor went out. Called up ninja support and they were willing to replace for free, but just decided to return the product. It’s a lot of hassle and not worth it even when it is working….

Disappointing frozen yogurt feature

Disappointed in product. You cannot refreeze your frozen yogurt and respond it. The nozzle freezes and when you go to dispense the yogurt it backs up into the machine. I habe tried leaving it out longer before responding. Doesn’t work. I feel like the machine is going to explode from the pressure created with a frozen nozzle. Don’t advertise frozen yogurt when you can’t actually deliver. I will just make single serve batches and not refreeze. Not ideal and not what the product is advertised to do. Lots of opportunity for improvement here. Just buy the cheaper ice cream only model and save yourself a headache and a lot of mess!
