GreenPan Frost Ice Cream and Frozen Drink Maker

We love our frost machine. So far we have made both vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The machine is so easy to use and makes a great product. Can’t wait to try more recipes!

Don't buy it it's not for anything sugarfree I returned it and am fighting for my credit

I have two other ice cream machines from two different manufacturers, and this one is hands down the best. It’s quite and the prep time is minutes!

Best machine ever. Love the fact you can make smoothies/slushies and ice cream all from the same machine. I have purchased 3 so far. We have 1 in our motorhome, 1 at our weekend retreat and 1 in our pool house.

Took a few times for me to figure it out but it works well and I’ve been able to use mostly 2% milk and truvia in place of real sugar. I love pouring in strawberry lemonade and getting a sorbet treat

If you are looking for creamy soft serve, this is not the machine for you. There is no satisfaction guarantee on their purchase, so I am now stuck with a machine that doesn't deliver.

Great product that does multiple things. Very easy to setup. Very easy to clean. Great addition to the kitchen.

Machine is great and it’s quiet. The only reason I don’t give a 5 is it came missing the decorative cover and I emailed to let them know and send me one and got no response back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE the GreenPan Ice Cream and Frozen drink maker! I started off by making a simple slushy with just some juice, it came out perfectly! It made me feel like I had gone out and picked up an actual drink from a popular drive thru fast food joint! It is extremely versatile being able to make boozy beverages, soft ice cream and slushies. It has its own cleaning functionality that I use between uses for the actual freezing mechanism and then I will hand wash the remaining pieces. Once you put it together once, it is extremely easy to take apart and reassemble. I didn’t find the noise that it makes while mixing to be obnoxious and you wouldn’t be able to hear it with a TV or radio in the background. I can’t wait to host some parties and use this to serve my friends and family!

I have tried so many ice cream machines and this by far is the best one yet. The machine is a bit heavy but works beautifully.

I was really excited about this machine and even paid for faster shipping. I thought it would outshine other options since it can make both slushies and soft serve in one unit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to those expectations. First it is loud, more like having a vacuum running in the distant background. Not ideal if you’re trying to watch TV or be in the same room. Second, the design of the top opening is frustrating. The slots are so small that liquid easily spills if you pour too quickly, and once it’s inside, you can’t really access the mix. You can't even see the end of the frozen drink due to the front piece you put on (I just don't). The results are also inconsistent, even when following Greenmachine’s recipes. The soft serve, for example, never comes out firm enough to hold in a cone, which was a big disappointment. On top of that, the machine shuts off after about two hours after getting to chill. With a minimum batch size of 24 oz, that’s a lot for a single adult to get through before it shuts off, making it impractical unless you’re serving a family or group. I really wanted this machine to work, but between the noise, design flaws, short chill time, and inconsistent output, it just doesn’t meet the mark. One positive thing: I love the color!

The Frost is fantastic! We've made ice cream and margaritas so far. You can choose the consistency of what you are making so it comes out exactly the way you like it. This was a great purchase!

The Frost is AMAZING!! It is quieter than I thought it would be. It made ice-cream in less than an hour. My favorite thing is the "spiked slushie" mode. This is my new favorite thing for 2025!!!

It made the creamiest, dreamiest strawberry ice cream in under 30 minutes, and the frozen margaritas? Chef's kiss! The versatility is a huge win; it handles everything from sorbet to slushies like a total pro. I was worried about the noise level, but it’s surprisingly quiet, and just a low hum, so you can totally watch your shows while it works! Cleaning is a breeze (the bowl and paddle are dishwasher safe, thank goodness!). And the durability feels solid and it’s well-made and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Im using this for my upcoming house party!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Every kitchen needs this! You can make so much in this - smoothies, ice cream, frozen yogurt, milkshakes, and more! If you want to add alcohol, that’s an option! If you want to make an original concoction, that’s an option! It does have a bit of a learning curve, but I’m excited to continue trying new recipes and options! It’s not loud at all, but it does take up a pretty big spot on the counter. But it’s so worth it! In 30 minutes, I turned a premixed alcohol drink into a perfect slushy using the alcohol setting. The ice is so perfect that it is taking me back to Floridita, where the daiquiri was invented. The one thing I'll say, learn from my mistake and triple check to make sure the pour handle is completely locked... If not, you'll have a tiny mess to clean up. The number of things that one can make with this machine makes the price absolutely worth every penny. (But I'm glad I got it for free through Influenster) I can't wait to host parties and wow everyone with drinks! I'll be using this bad boy on a weekly basis.
