Q: I don't understand what's the difference between this and a blender? You're already freezing the mix and then just blending it up the next day
A: The Creami's blade isn't stationary; it's designed to move up and down within the pint container. Spinning Rod: The blade is connected to a central shaft (or rod) that spins and also moves vertically. Functionality: This up-and-down motion, combined with the spinning action, allows the blade to shave and process the frozen mixture, creating a smooth, creamy texture.
submitted byGreat curtains - 6 months agoA: This is what I’m wondering?? Pretty sure it’s a blender 🤔
submitted byAshley - 1 year agoA: It uses Creamify™ technology to turn fully frozen mixtures into smooth, scoopable ice cream by shaving and processing ice crystals—not just blending them. This gives it a creamier texture than a regular blender can achieve.

Q: Can you make frozen custard with this?
A: The Ninja NC301 is designed for making ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and similar frozen treats, but it does not make traditional frozen custard. Frozen custard typically requires cooking a custard base with eggs before freezing, which this machine does not perform. However, you can prepare a custard base separately, chill it, and then use the NC301 to churn it into a creamy frozen dessert.

Q: What is the difference between the pink and steel one? The pink one costs more and has 5 parts vs 3 for the steel but doesn’t say what they are
A: The pink and steel versions are the same unit in terms of functionality the pink one is a limited edition color, which is why it costs more. In general, the parts included in the box for either version are: a Creamerizer™ paddle, 3 16oz Creami™ pints with storage lids, an outer bowl with lid, and a 30-recipe inspiration guide.
