We’ve made two batches of delicious ice cream so far. It is very important not to overfill the tub as it starts to push out the add-in door and leaks out making a mess around the bucket. So don’t assume that the recipe you’re making won’t be too much- especially if you are adding things. It’s really convenient and nice not to have to freeze the bucket. Machine is a bit cumbersome and heavy.

Hard to clean the machine after churning. Even when filling the bowl with less the maximum amount the frozen product flaws out. There is a gap between the rubber seal and the body that can only be cleaned with a toothpick.

I finally broke down and treated myself to this ice cream maker. So much easier then having a canister taking up room in your freezer. So far it has been easy and has made some great ice cream Highly recommend this machine

This Cuisinart Ice Cream and Gelato Maker is a game changer! I have made homemade ice cream every summer and dread it because of all the prep, getting the right salt, making sure I had enough ice, etc. It is so easy to make ice cream with this Cuisinart and my family and friends are loving all the homemade ice cream! I am keeping my freezer stocked!! Love it!!

I wish that I had sprung for this ice cream maker much sooner. Long gone are the days of waiting at least 24 hours for the mixing bowl to freeze, not to mention the mixing bowl always too up so much space in the freezer. It was just a really lame way to make ice cream. With this new machine, it completely streamlines the entire process leaving me time to start experimenting with new ice cream flavors :) I would highly recommend!

I have an older Cuisinart ice cream maker, but it was a pain to remember to put the bowl in the freezer to make ice cream...when I saw this ice cream maker I was excited to see that I didn't need to freeze a bowl, just add ingredients and start it, I love it!

I have been shopping for an ice cream maker for a while and I am glad that I chose it. It makes wonderful ice cream that doesn’t have ice crystals later. It makes ice cream and gelato quickly and cleans up nicely.No ice or rock salt.Adding extras like nuts fruit and chocolate is a snap with the little window.

So I've had my Machine for a little over a month. I researched and then purchased it following a trip to Florence and missing Gelato. What I loved about this machine is that it has attachments for both ice cream and gelato and that you don't have to remember to freeze the container ahead of time and that due to the built in compressor, I can make back to back batches without delay. I've used it at least 6 times since then and have enjoyed the convenience. I can't say much yet for reliability, but I will be putting this machine through the tests to find out how durable it is!
