Q: Will an 8 inch thick mattress fit in the trundle? Or should we get 6 inch?

Q: Is the back fully upholstered with the same fabric as the front? I plan to have the bed sitting off the wall to act as a room divider so the back will be fully visible.

Poor quality

Don't buy this. Not as pictured and just junk. 4 hours to assemble and not finished. Show the back high. It's actually about half that height really. Cheap but really junk !!!
