Buy it if you like to keep your coffee hot
Keeps my coffee warm. I hate that it takes time to charge and that I have to alway hand wash it, but I love how hot it keeps my coffee. I sometimes keep it on the charger when I’m working. I also charge it over night for the next day. It is lightweight and has a thin lip at the top. Two important features I look forward to in coffee cups.

Don't buy
It will say it’s empty when it’s full. It will say it’s a a warm temp when it’s cold. If you want it or warm at max temp, it lasts less than an hour. have had it 2 weeks and rarely has it worked as expected.

A great heating mug, but the charge does not last
I got a 10oz mug as a gift about a year ago. Still runs well. Never thought i needed one till I got it. This is definitely a luxury, but it feels so good to have it. When you have an office job, and are glued to a screen, it is very nice to be able to drink your drink at a stable temperature, while in Teams meetings. I took a star off the rating because of two things - (1) - It does require you to log in to start the heating process. Not every single time, but every time you lose the pairing. and (2) - it runs out of charge very quickly, in about an hour. Does not help much when you have to sit through some back to back meetings.

Not worth the price tag
Works well when it works. Constantly drinking cold coffee still because the mug doesn’t charge consistently and doesn’t always work even when it is charged.

Wonderful cup!
This was a gift to me 2-3 years ago and I use it everyday, and still no problems! I'm careful to make sure the bottom is dry, don't submerge in water and it's been a great present . It does not keep my coffee piping hot for a long period of time anymore off the charger but that's been ok considering how old it is.

Hi have an Ember 2 cup which I purchased as a Christmas present to myself in December 2024. It’s been in use since then every day and is brilliant at keeping my coffee warm. I’m careful to use a wooden spoon so as to not damage the cup’s coating and also to lift the cup off the charging saucer to dab-off condensation, being careful not to bend the charging pins. It’s a wonderful cup which I greatly enjoy using.

Don't buy.
Just got a cup to replace my old one, which I used for 3 years before the battery was as bad as the new version. With the first version of the cup, I kept my drink hot plus two refills. With the new version, it keeps your drink hot, if you don't leave it too long. The battery went from a full charge last night to less than 90% over night(not used) This morning I was halfway through my tea and it said 18%. The app works better, but it's a waste of R&D when the product is declining. It will soon be a paperweight... which nobody needs anymore either.

Too many defects
The connectivity is atrocious. I have to reset and re-connect every single time I try to use it. Which is frustrating if you've already setup your device multiple times. Also the battery drains so quickly. I get the charging coaster can be used but you'd think the mug would last longer considering it's a mug meant to keep your beverage warm...

Disappointing
Pretty disappointing. I have gotten two ember mugs as gifts. After my first one didn’t work 50% of the time my FIL bought me a new one. My new one malfunctions all the time saying the drink is empty or it’s 112 degree coffee when I have it set at 134. I really want to love this product because it’s genius but for the price I just don’t feel it’s worth it.

I received the Ember mug as a Christmas present. Beautiful color and sleek design; however, there's an obvious flaw with the battery. Five minutes after being fully charged and removed from the charging coaster, the app displays 95% battery, and after forty-five minutes, it drops to 6%. It definitely fails and doesn't maintain temperature for 1.5 to 80 minutes.

Careful of easily spilling with rounded bottom
I've had this mug for a year and really love it. The only problem I have is the rounded bottom makes it so easy to tip. One slight push or nudge and it knocks over since the bottom is not flat. Mine charges fine and stays hot but I've knocked it over a few times by barely hitting it. Other than that mug is great. I don't use it for first cup of the day since I drink that one fast. But afternoon cup or a cup of tea to drink slow stays nice and hot. Nothing worse than taking a sip of cold drink that's been sitting a while.

Lid sucks cup ok
Stupid design on 16oz lid you cant tell if its closed or open or what side to drink out of. If you accidentally drink out of the wrong side coffee hits you in the eyes. It is worse early in the morning when its still kind of dark outside. Also you adjust the color but its never your color it stays mostly just white

Good Mug, Weak Battery
I like the mugs, but the battery life is terrible. 80 minutes for the large mug. and the battery drains when it's not being used. I charge it at 100% and overnight it will drop to 65%. Otherwise, it keeps my coffee hot and I like being able to regulate the temp. At the default temperature the coffee gets burned pretty fast. I keep it at 125º. Just need to beef up the battery life. Leaving the mug on the charger all dies sucks up electricity,

Disappointed
Got this at Christmas. Had to remove and re sync to Bluetooth every time I used it. Did not run while on the charging plate, and took nearly half a day to charge. Options were full refund or replace with a different color (no copper available at the time)
