tastes like sunscreen lol
pretty but it tastes like when your sunscreen gets in your mouth by accident. wish it didn’t do that but it last long and is hydrating i guess. will not be purchasing again though because i can taste it even though im not licking my lips or anything

I’m so glad I was able to finally find an SPF lip product that actually stays on for longer than 10 seconds. I’ve tried plenty of SPF lip balms (Hawaiian Tropic, Banana Boat, Burt’s Bees) all of which fade after 10 seconds and you’re just left there reapplying instead of enjoying your time outside. This balm is THICK and STICKY (which I love!) and kept my lips protected from the sun. It has a tropical scent/taste which does fade fairly quickly. Would definitely repurchase.

Burns Your Eyes
I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I applied at home and then went tp water aerobics. About a half hour in, my eyes started to burn. It kept getting progressively worse. By the the time the class was over, I was in real pain. Imagine someone continuously splashing pepper juice in your face. By the time I got home, I could barely see and snot was running out my nose. The kicker, when I used it last year at the river, I was the only one wearing it, and the only person who got attacked by wasps.

Thick gloss, no SPF taste at least
This is a nice product when it comes to other SPF lip options, but could be better. Just know it is not really a balm but more like a sticky gloss. For those who like the shine, it does last. I find after a few hours it is still on, but if you have hair that breezes around it will stick and that can be annoying. There is the slightest chemical aftertaste after a few hours, too. The smell is a very sweet pineapple smell, and it is sweet in taste. The scent dissipates within a few minutes, but if you are sensitive to fragrance, or hate sticky glossy balms, skip this. It is half an ounce, so while a bit pricey, it is at least larger than most SPF lip balm and tubes. It is a bit moisturizing but not drying. I say it is worth trying if you don't mind those few faults.

The coconut scent is so good—like a mini beach vacation every time I put it on. The texture is super smooth and very moisturizing, which saved my lips during the winter when they were really chapped.
