The Apex Pro by Muck Boots is built for high endurance cool and cold weather pursuits or treks that require the performance of an agile boot, but with excellent traction. Reaching 15-inches in height, this pull-on boot is completely waterproof with strategically placed rubber overlays that provide additional protection along the shin and forefoot without adding unnecessary weight. The interior is fully lined with a 4mm CR Flex Foam Neoprene, this boot will keep you warm. A breathable mesh lining facilitates air circulation. A dual density footbed treated BioDEWIX and having a topcover with NZYM mitigates odor and supplies moisture management. Underfoot a Vibram Arctic Grip All-Terrain outsole with Vibram XS Trek Evo compound and New Traction Lug Technology provides superior grip no matter the season and advanced traction on all terrain, including, but not limited to wet ice, snow, mixed/loose surfaces and hard pack.     Way too small

    I think that this would be an excellent boot meeting all of my criteria, BUT the fit was so small that I would probably need to go up to a men's 9 from a 7. Measurement and previous boot and shoe sizes from other manufacturers would indicate that I had ordered the correct size...so beware. Unfortunately, it was ordered during a Muck Boot sale and appears not to be exchangeable so back it goes. I would recommend trying these on in a store before deciding to order.

    Nice boot, little cold weather insulation

    The traction on the boots and the easy pull on feature is great. However, the insulation is substandard and to toes are frozen within 20 minutes in just 20 degree weather. It’s a step up from a rain boot, but not much different. Returning to my weekly insulated boots I should have stuck with.

    Best boot ever!

    Had these boots for a few weeks and they are by far the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned hands down!! Very comfortable also. Wish I would of bought 10 pair while they were on sale

    Great boots

    I bought these boots on an black Friday sale. They arrived quickly and fit great. They have a nice layer of insulation, just the right amount to keep warm but not over do it. They have great traction on mud and ice and haven't leaked a bit. Only down fall was the break in. The upper part of the boot was fairly stiff and rubbed my legs pretty bad for the first little while. That being said I was walking miles per day in them.

    Water gets in through the soles

    Very comfortable fits great but they are not waterproof with only a week of use not sweating, the insides get wet and when I walk indoors I can hear it in the soles like a sponge. I’d like a replacement I hope it’s just a bad pair because they’re great on ice too.

    Awesome Boots!

    My husband wears these boots to work his construction job everyday. He loves them, very comfortable. Also very waterproof, his socks stay dry the whole day. And easy to move around in. Would definitely recommend!

    Not warm enough

    It says it’s rated to sub zero temps but I was outside in 8 degree weather for an hour and I could not feel my toes anymore.

    Bad construction, they don't last!!

    I really like the comfort, how light they feel, and the style, but they "Do Not Last!!" period! I've purchased two style tall hunting boots and two short ankle style boots, they are all coming apart, cracking, and leaking! It's ashame, because I have three older friends that have purchased Muck boots +/- 15 years they've worn their boots each many, many more times than I've worn all four of my pair in total hours. I feel I'm being generous giving two stars, thats only for the good points. I don't believe I'll being wasting anymore money or time on these boots!

    Not made for work

    Lasted less than 4 months. They were ok through calving season, but trying to walk through the growing fields trashed them quickly.
