Keeps odor out very well without having to take it out to the dumpster as I live on a second floor apartment. Only think I don’t like is that the part you pull out to release the litter down into it gets caught on the holder for the bags every time

Impractical and causes a mess
If I could give this zero stars, I would. It is impossible to get the litter from the box into the genie without dropping it. It fills up quickly, and is large. We will be tossing ours.

Bad design
We have had the older design of this for over 5 years and it still works but we wanted to try this new design. It broke and won’t close within a week of getting it. The handle to carry it is awkwardly low so it’s hard to carry around. The lid also comes off too easily and we miss the spring loaded closing mechanism. We will be sticking to the older design.
