Great Addition to Razor Family!
This has been a great addition to our Razor products. Put together easily, no quality issues. My 100# 10 year old loves it, and thanks to the weight limit we have all taken a turn. It goes just has fast as the mini pocket scooter but since it is so close to the ground it feels MUCH faster!! We have had it for 3 months. I purchased the Allstate plan to go along with it after reading other reviews but seems like I won’t need it! My only complaint was the price but if you wait for the right deal it doesn’t hurt so bad lol esp when Target has their Christmas sales/coupons.

Terribly disappointing. On Christmas morning, my daughter played in it for 30 minutes total and it stopped working. Battery was still holding a charge, but Kart wouldn't move. Stay away!

Fun Kart until it isn’t
I purchased this for my son’s birthday and the first rides were great but then the chain broke. I replaced the chain and sure enough next ride another broken chain. Replaced the chain again and after a couple more ride the motor stopped working. Very disappointed.

can't keep the chain on
I have spent more time putting the chain back on than my grandson has spent riding this thing. Have replaced the chain tensioner , and chain still comes off. I have noticed that the gears and roller guides are not aligned with each other. There is no was to adjust them. At this point we feel we are out of options to fix it. Looks like it may be fun to drive when it runs.

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas. I did alot of research and it seemed promising. For reference my household has owned .4 crazy carts, one crazy cart XL, four dirt rockets ranging from 350, McGrath 500 and two MX650s! On top we have a pocket mod, a pocket mod belleza was bought for my niece and two kick electric scooters....we are faithful razor family. They treated me like they could care less. THERE IS NO TENSION ON THE CHAIN TENSIONER BECAUSE YOUR DESIGN IS BACKWARDS!!!!! YOUR ENGINEERS KNOW IT! THE GO-KART WE HAVE HAD FOR OVER A YEAR AND IT STILL HAS HAD LESS THAN 4 HOURS ON IT! BECAUSE EVERY TIME MY DAUGHTER STARTS RIDING IT, THE CHAIN FALLS OFF!!! SUPER DISAPPOINTED. after how I was treated, hung up on and ignored I don't think I can ever buy from this company again. Way to go guys. 10k in products and nothing.

Revised design
This was not entirely clear to me when researching this product, but Razor did revise the design of the GFE kart. The original kart (teal and yellow livery) had a chain driven axle and there are a lot of complaints about the chain popping off. The red and yellow livery kart has a hub motor built into the right rear wheel (no more chain). So the issue of the chain popping off has been eliminated. I cannot otherwise speak to long term reliability as we just received the kart and only have about 70 minutes of ride time so far. It is far better than the previous 12v toys we have had. It seems like it will be good, but time will tell.

The Chain Breaks Continually
I purchased two of these in December 2023, and while they worked well initially, they began having significant issues after about six months of use. The chain on both units repeatedly came off, and no matter how many times I reattached it or replaced the chain entirely, the problem persisted. The chain constantly pops off within 10 minutes, making it frustrating and inconvenient to use. Accessing the chain to fix it is also a hassle, only for the issue to happen again almost immediately. This design flaw makes the product unreliable, and it’s incredibly disappointing given its initial performance. After checking reviews from other resellers, it’s clear that many customers have faced the same issue. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless the manufacturer addresses the design flaw.

Best ever but battery doesn't last
Kids got this for Christmas 2023, here we are 8 months later and the battery won't hold a charge for more than 2-3 mins of driving. Super disappointed for the high price of this car!!!! I'm very diligent about battery maintenance and this battery is not very good in our unit. Kids absolutely loved this car (past tense), by far their favorite toy but it's a total dud now due to battery issues. I too had tensioner issues but easily fixed it.

I looked at a lot of Go Karts last year and bought him this one for his 7th birthday. He just turned 8 and used it all summer. He drove it around for at 4 to 6 hours a day non-stop... The Battery lasts way longer than I would have expected and they say.

An ABSOLUTE BLAST! Will set your inner child free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave this to our 19 year old son. Assembly took all of 15 minutes out of the box and he was zipping around the neighborhood on it. It is as quick as they claim- I clocked him on Life 360 going 15mph. The seatbelt is very effective and is also a must if you plan to take any turns pedal to the metal or you will fly off of the seat lol. Overall comfy to drive for shorter periods of time. My husband is 6’2” and has had his fair share of riding as well without issue. Getting in and out is a little fiddly but nothing keeping him from taking a spin. Overall, the cart is an absolute blast! We’ve enjoyed going out as a family and taking turns on it in the warm summer months- we call it “going on a night cart” lol. It’s provided a means for us to bond and have a lot of fun together and we love that. The cart is solid, strong and runs very quietly. It handles well and provides a good blast of wind in your hair. Absolutely fantastic! Love, love, love. Gets our family giggling in delight and sets the inner child free. Get it, you’ll love it too.

My son was very excited to drive this cart as this was his first one. Took my son to the park so that he had the space and safety of riding without having to worry about passing cars. So far have not had any issues with parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. One thing I wish it could be to charge faster. It took me over 6 hours or more to charge and only last about 1 hour. Easy to put together. Summer is coming, and I can't wait to use it more with my son. Reference I'm only 90lbs.
