This rug is much lower quality than I hoped. It looks ok from a distance, though. The quality of the wool is very low. You can easily see the cotton threads of the foundation because there are pretty significant gaps between the rows of wool. And don't even get me started on the smell. It has some bizarre chemical bleach-like smell that's pretty pungent and overwhelming. I waited several days and al it did was seemingly get stronger. I can't stand to be in the same room as it. I think I'm gonna be forced to return it. I have an inexpensive hand-knotted wool rug from Rug Source and it's SIGNIFICANTLY better quality than this rug despite the similar price point. I suggest you don't buy this rug.
