A: Thank you for the question! The vibration Unit requires (1) size C/LR14 (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included). The rocking motion is manual and does not require batteries.

The Seat pad/Bolster/Headrest – Can be cleaned by sponging with warm water and a mild detergent. (Do not immerse in water.) Never clean with abrasive, ammonia-based, bleach-based, or spirit-type cleaners. Seat pad must be dried thoroughly on a flat surface before using or storing. Do not spin or tumble dry. Toy bar and toys – Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water. Frame – Wipe the frame with soft, clean cloth and mild soap.

This is truly the best object we’ve purchased for our new baby, it helps him get his poops out and is so versatile. He’s staring at me smiling and blowing bubbles. Beware Do Not Purchase
When we put this together, we thought the item was defective. All straps are sewn into the chair at every angle so it's not adjustable. There are three slots in the back of the chair that the company says should be used to adjust the size, but that doesn't help. In the photo, the buckle by my hand is supposed to snap to the green buckle near the waist. There is no stretch so you can obviously see it's impossible to snap it together with a baby in it and my baby is small. I can't risk having a chair that doesn't safely strap down the baby so I'm not keeping this.

We love this bouncer! My baby is almost 6 months and we use it almost everyday. Everyone complaining that it’s a manual bouncer probably didn’t read the description because this is great for what it is. We will keep enjoying this until our baby is too big for it!
