  • A: Yes! This is the third type of carrier that I tried because I needed to put it on myself and was getting frustrated with how challenging the others were to put on. This one is easy to put on solo - I’ve worn it around the house, taken baby out of car seat and put directly into carrier by myself to walk around the store, airplanes, etc! Easy to adjust and also take off by yourself. Material is comfy too - highly recommend!

This Embrace is great for the fourth trimester, when you are sticking close to home and easing the transition for baby into the world. The Embrace can be used from 7-25 lbs. While the Embrace carrier can be used up to 25 lbs, we recommend that once baby reaches about 4-6 months, and is developmentally ready to see the world in all directions, we recommend the next carrier in our Ages & Stages line, the All Position 360 baby carrier or Omni 360 carrier.

  • A: You can launder your carrier using a mild detergent on a gentle cycle with cold water. You can use the dryer for about 20 minutes. It will still be damp. Hang out to dry for the duration of the drying time.

    Perfect for Newborns!

    Love this carrier and wish I would have had it for our first baby. I was looking for something easy to put on to do house stuff with a newborn. This is just that! It’s comfortable for both of us and it’s International Hip Dysplasia Institute approved.

    All Time Fav

    I’ve tried 6+ carriers including the other ergo baby one and this one is by far the most comfortable and easy to wear carrier. My back kills me and my hips and legs go numb in other carriers, but this one is so cozy and holds and distributes weight perfectly. I’ve used it for 2 kids so far. With all of the carriers out there, it’s incredibly overwhelming trying to find the right one, I recommend just getting this one! My husband loves it too and it’s easy to put on alone.

    Comfortable for me and baby

    Most comfortable carrier I’ve tried. Doesn’t put strain on my back like other ones I’ve had. I also feel like there is a lot of head support for my baby when I have to bend slightly. I’m never bending much but in the past I’ve felt like I had to hold my babies head when I’m just walking around like it’s flopping all over if not. Not the case with this one at all. Very secure. She falls right asleep after I put get her in.

    Absolutely Essential !

    Literally one of the best things I got for my baby. I use it everyday as it's incredibly practical—super easy to put on, comfortable to wear, light weight and perfect for keeping my hands free around the house or while out and about. The best part is that it keeps my baby snug and close, which seems to sooth her quite quickly

    Love this one!

    I love this carrier because the material is very soft and slightly stretchy. The over the shoulder straps splay out to distribute the weight over your shoulders, not just straight up and over. This makes it much more economic so it does not hurt my back like other carriers that have straps that go just straight up and over the shoulders.

    Absolutely LOVE it! Sorry-tried those Artipoppe's and those are just for show. They are STIFF. Happy I did my research and chose the BEST carrier for my Grandson and his Mom!

    Uncomfortable

    Bought this carrier and it’s just so uncomfortable. My baby is 3 months and wears 3-6 months and it just seems to small. He is approximately 15lbs. I would definitely say this is for newborns. I did not like that there is no head support. I went and bought a Lillebaby and that seems better. I originally was avoiding a big carrier b/c I like how simple my moby wrap is. But this one is definitely not the one.
