Dropps Dish UltraWash Biobased Detergent Pods - Unscented - 48ct

I’ve never written a review about dishwashing pods, but these are so effective I had to spread the word! They remove stuck on food with ease. The best part? No weird chemicals or added fragrance/perfumes. I had to stop using Seventh Generation brand as they stopped working, but these are a MUCH better replacement. I’ve finally found my go-to dishwashing pods after searching for a good fragrance free option.

New favorite. Prefer natural cleaners and this fits the bill and works perfectly. Love how tiny each pack is - so the box is very small and compact, easy to store, but has a ton of packs so lasts a while.

I really wanted to love these! Unscented, biobased, supposedly very effective. But I’ve had two issues during the first few weeks of use. First of all, it did not clean a pot that only had a little food on the sides. Disappointed with that. I specifically left some traces of food in the the pot (no bits, just a smear of liquid residue from making black beans), and I put the pot in the bottom rack. The result was not great, and I had to clean it manually after the wash. However, this is not the first time dishwasher pod that was only so-so at pots. The real surprise, and biggest issue, is that my machine is suddenly leaking. At first I thought my machine was leaking due to a gasket or valve or hose. But after looking into it (including going back to my old dish pods) I tracked the problem to oversudsing. These pods seem to oversuds. I do rinse (but not pre-wash) my dishes to remove food bits, and mostly run a full load. I do not use drying agents, and the water is a little hard, but not crazy. And, again, I did not have oversudsing problems with my previous pods (7th Gen pods). Other than that, the dishes turn out clean, and NO CHEAP PERFUME SMELL! HURRAY! If I can figure out the oversudsing problem, I would be happy..

My husband does the dishes in our household, as I am the cook. He loves these pods better than the ones in the grocery store, and supposedly they have less or no PFAs.

These work great, even if there is dried on food. And I love the minimal packaging!

Leaves dishes clean with no artificial lingering scent!

Highly recommend this product. I love not having to pre-rinse everything. I will rinse off egg and rice but this works on just about everything else. Love that it’s truly a clean product that actually works!

I've been using Dropps for some time - this was my first time purchasing and using the UltraWash product. It is extremely fussy - and often the packet doesn't fully dissolve in the course of the cycle, leaving dishes still dirty. I contacted Dropps about this, and unfortunately we were out of the window for a return. I am not sure I will continue to purchase Dropps products.

The pods work great in our Kitchenaid dishwasher. They get the dishes clean.

Droops dish detergent pods really surprised me. It does a great job without the fragrance that hits me in the face from using cascade pods.

Part of why we used drops was because we knew the packaging was plastic free and low impact. The latest order came with a bunch of unneeded packaging. Will probably consider other options as a result

These dishwasher pods are a game changer before this my glasses and especially my plastic containers. All smelled like the dishwashing detergent and I felt the food was going to taste like it as well. There’s no odor and the dishes come out sparkling clean.

This works as well as any store bought detergent, including on our sterling silver flatware. It took a long time to find a detergent that wouldn’t turn my sterling black, and also have no scent. Dropps is a game changer! And who wants a scented dish detergent making their silicone cooking tools smell AND TASTE like a disgusting fragrance? Exactly no one. I’m totally sold on this product for both reasons. Thank you for making this!
