Other reviews are right. The paint chips really badly and right away.
Yes, the paint does chip and peel pretty much right away. We didn't notice anything while it was in the box. But my son has had it for less than a day and big chunks of paint on the wings, both teal and purple parts, has fallen off or peeled in spots. He doesn't care, because it is otherwise a pretty sweet toy. But manufacturers should be very careful to avoid whatever approach they took that caused this, because it will quickly put people off buying any more from this line.

Cool figure, poor production issues
While the figure itself looks cool, shame on Jazwares for putting out such a poor product. Right out of the box theres numerous paint issues with cracking and peeling. I actually worry for anyone buying this for a kid since the paint could be hazardous if they eat it. Ive seen others with far worse condition so I guess i can't move the wings too much.

This figure has terrible paint quality! Fresh in the box this figure looks like it's been heavily played with for years. Paint is chipping/missing in multiple areas and there are marks all over the figure. Don't waste your money on this one. Returning ASAP!

The toy itself is fine and works appropriately. However, even getting it out of the packaging it lost paint off of its wings. We have had it for less than 2 days and more and more paint keeps flaking off of its wings.
