[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my kids have enjoyed using this xylophone. It is a great size and easy for them to pick up and hold. Perfect for table play, couch play and in the car play. Would enjoy the sound being being a little bit louder personally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this Fisher Price xylophone! The colors are aesthetically pleasing to me while still being colorful and attractive to my toddler. He reaches it for it often and I don’t mind it even tagging along in the car. The size is perfect and the tones calming for both of us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is neat and clear and minimal. Very easy to open and unpack. The idea of the toy is great. A musical instrument with vibrant rainbow colors. Frame is wood, tone bars are metal, hammer is wood as well. As much as I want to like this instrument, I just cannot say it works very well. First off, the hammer is not very heavy, so it doesn’t allow much sound to be made. In addition, the sound bars really do not resonate sound well. Seems like a design flaw. Overall I’d pass this xylophone if other options are available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A well made piece but the Xylophone doesn't have that same ting I remember. It didn't seem to bother my 2 girls under 3 though. They have had fun playing with it. Even my daughter who isn't one yet seemed to enjoy playing with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new wooden Fisher Price Model is a good addition to their line of products. The packaging is very eco friendly and minimal. It comes with a wooden mallet to play the xylophone. The keys are colorful metal and it’s relatively lightweight for little hands to hold and carry it around. The keys make different sounds/notes however the sound is a bit muted. I wish the “dings” would be louder and clearer. I also wish that the mallet had some one of being attached to it. My little one would drop the mallet in one place and the xylophone in another. Perhaps a string or an elastic loop or a notch to hold it would be ideal. Overall I would recommend it because it is nice to look at and seems more authentic than a plastic one. I do wish the sound was louder and it wasn’t so easy to lose the mallet.

When I first handed it to him, he kind of looked at me like “well what am I supposed to do with this?”….however he didn’t look that way for long. As soon as he got a hang of how the toy worked, he carries it everywhere he goes and even goes to sleep playing with it. It is a very durable toy. He has dropped it quite a few times and it still looks brand new. I would highly recommend this toy! Definitely worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher-Price wooden xylophone is perfect for my 2 year old twins. It also doubles as the magic xylophone which, if you know you know. Its tiny size is perfect for their little hands to hold & all the keys are screwed in place so no worries about them falling out. Its also not that annoying ringing you would expect out of a music toy. As a mom of 6, I try to avoid loud toys, but this isnt such. Its mute but also plays the perfect pitch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the xylophone, my grandchild was excited to open it and play. The xylophone was made very well. I liked the fact that it had a wood base and bright bright colored metal keys. It is small so the child is able to carry it around and maybe pretend be marching in a parade. That is what my granddaughter did. I was not impressed by the music of the keys. I don't know if it was a plastic supporters underneath the keys or something else. She did grow bored of it after a short time. I don't think it was loud enough for her. All in all it was a very nicely constructed toy. Just didn't keep my little one's interest very long.

I like that my 2 year old can play with it near my infant without it being too loud. He is also attracted to the bold vibrant colors on the keys, which help him practice color recognition. Overall, this is a durable colorful classical musical instrument that has kept my toddler entertained with his hands!
