I live in an extremely cold climate so I am very picky about the bedding I use, it needs to be warm, comfortable, durable and relatively easy to care for! This set is perfect! It is thick, packed well and extremely warm especially when the duvet is double stuffed! It is so soft and comfortable and has held up incredibly well so far!

My bed is a California king and I was given a full/queen. But my husband and I use two separate blankets so the size doesn’t bother me. You do have to be careful with the waffle texture cause it will snag on stuff, it got caught on my fingernail.

I gave this mini duvet set four stars because after washing the duvet on gentle, the string to keep the comforter from moving around inside came off. And it was stitched on. Aside from that, I have a queen bed and it fits perfectly. It’s also cat friendly. My cat has made her “morning biscuits” on this duvet every morning for a few weeks and there are no signs of her claws pulling up the stitching anywhere. The material itself is soft and comfortable, will definitely keep using.

I was really excited about the “waffle” description on this duvet set and thought it would be great for our guest room bed. When I received the product, it had a horrible chemical/plasticy smell right out of the package that mostly went away in the wash. We have bought lots of bedding over the years from other brands and this has never happened to us before. I was also disappointed in the “waffle” texture - it feels very synthetic and doesn’t actually look “waffled” close up. Even after a wash the fabric/material is not comfortable on the “waffle” side and the backing isn’t much better. The color is nice and it looks fine from far away, but I certainly wouldn’t want this specific design on my own bed and will not be putting it out for my guests.

The two shams are very nice and easy to stuff. I put this set in my guest room and it looks great on the bed. I’m a big fan of polka dots. The tonal, textured dot design on this set give a nog to that while being a little more modern and sophisticated. In all, I would recommend this set to dress up that old comforter and give any bedroom a facelift.
