Q: Do you have to turn on the faucet everytime you use it? Or does the connector hose have a stopper that dispenser water when you start the machine?

A: No, you do not need to turn on the faucet every time you use the BLACK+DECKER BCD6W countertop dishwasher. The dishwasher comes with a Quick Connect assembly, which includes an inlet hose and faucet adapter. This adapter must be installed onto your faucet before connecting the dishwasher. Once installed, you can connect and disconnect the dishwasher as needed without leaving the faucet on. After each use, it's recommended to disconnect the hoses and drain any residual water by angling them over a sink or bucket. Regularly check the connection points for tightness to prevent leaks.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far washing good. Only compliant is hookup. If you don’t have a normal faucet you have to plumb direct. And fittings are odd sizes
