It's fully featured with an 8-position height adjustable headrest & 3-position shoulder belt adjustment. The Protect 2-in-1 Folding Booster Seat factors in real sizing & is engineered to properly fit the height & weight of your growing child. It also has a no-gap back that provides superior torso protection & top-notch safety.

  • A: Very unlikely. We’ve used this in at least 6 vehicles. The booster is very wide - it covered the buckle in 5 of 6 vehicles we used it in. Only in an XL SUV is the belt buckle accessible enough for the child to buckle himself.

  • A: Not sure what the Baby Trend expert is talking about. Just bought this seat and it is definitely NOT latch compatible. The manual specifically states "Secure this Booster Seat with the vehicle seat belt at all times (even when there is no child in it). An unsecured child restraint can injure someone if crash occurs." This is very disappointing given that both the product description and the answer to this question suggest that it is compatible with Latch. Too bad Bay Trend can't get their act together -- it looks like a nice seat.

Awesome quality

I recently purchased one of these protect booster and Iabsolutely love it. My daughter is so comfy and doesn’t give me a hassle anymore about sitting in a booster she is in love with her new car seats and feels absolutely safe in it.

Functional and great made booster

Bought this booster for my 5 year old daughter. There are so many great functions about it, I love how there is bilateral arm rests that folds up and down. It is so functional! Two cup holders on both sides, with a nice cushy padding for the head. Very pleased with the booster seat for my little one!

Perfectly Designed Booster Seat

This is a great booster seat. Our grandson finds it to be very comfortable. The headrest is very deep and thick, and provides a much more comfortable place to rest his head when he's tired, than any other car seat or booster seat I've seen. More importantly, it has patented side impact protection. I love the conveniences - the pads and fabric can be removed for cleaning, the arm rests fold up, and there are two cup holders. It's simple to install and buckle your child in, folds easily and compactly, and is light weight so it can be moved quickly from one car to another. It's easy to get our grandson in and out of, and there are 8 height adjustments and 3 shoulder belt adjustments so it will grow with him. It converts to a backless booster seat as well. We like it so much we bought a second one to give to our son and daughter-in-law. Our grandson loves that he can use the regular seat belt instead of the 5-point system.

Nice booster but very wide

Booster is fine but was way too wide to fit in my Traverse bucket seats. Child could not buckle himself at all and even I struggled to buckle. Ended up using it in my husband's pickup in the wider seat.

Narrow shoulders

The sides of the body are too aggressively angled, and only accommodate shoulders up to almost 10" wide. High back style is rated for 100lbs and 57", does not fit a 65lb 48"tall kid with 13" shoulders.
