Obviously the Lego brand you can trust to last long and with the way my son and nephews play. I’m glad to have it. The dinosaur theme is also a plus for little boys it’s nice to see them try to make different kinds of dinosaurs and then they are able to switch it up

The set is great and safe for play for ages 3+ and independent building / following the instructions is probably better suited for ages 4-5. So if your kid is 3, be prepared to help (but it’s also enjoyable for the adult!) With my 3.5 year old son, I handled most of the building while guiding him through steps, and he really loved playing with dinosaurs after. The pieces fit well, though some parts like necks and wings may pop off during active play. Instructions are clear for adults; younger kids may find them a little challenging. He chose to put together the T. rex and Diplodocus first, which was a good pair to start with (and turned out to be his favorite!) The set contains six dinosaurs (three pairs), so it is easy to switch things up as soon as things start to get stale. My son loved the movable mouths, flexible necks, and rolling wheels - great for imaginative play. Open-ended creativity is encouraged too. My son invents his own dinos beyond the included designs. The dinos look great and are recognizable, though some features like the T. rex’s mouth and Diplodocus’s tail don’t always hold poses well like shown on the box. The LEGO bricks are sturdy, but the unique, movable pieces don’t stay together as well. The variety of colors and shapes supports shape and color sorting skills, and the assembly helps develop fine motor skills so it’s great for education too! Once we built the first two dinos, my son was happy to keep playing with them for over a week before we tried rebuilding. That’s a real plus for the set’s longevity. I see this set providing 1.5-2 years of play, so it can grow with your child, especially if they get this when they are 3. This 3-in-1 dinosaur set is worth the price for quality and hours of play. It’s perfect as a gift for young dinosaur lovers or as an early LEGO introduction. It’s also ideal for quiet playtime after nap time drops out of the routine. Packaging-wise, all 108 pieces are separated into an assortment of plastic bags, and while less overwhelming than a box of loose bricks, you’ll need to open several bags just to start building. And we needed to open all of them to make the first dino. So I’m not really sure why they were separated the way they were? Seemed like a lot of extra packaging waste. Also, there’s no storage bag included, and the original box is rather big, so you’ll probably want your own container for storing the pieces, especially if you’re already short on toy bins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AWESOME! My toddler loves Duplo Lego’s and he loved this kit just as much as I expected him to. Love the size of the Legos- no worry from me about swallowing the pieces and they’re the perfect size for his little fingers. The pieces are very durable- even the wheeled pieces. He’s almost 3- so he needs help to actually build the dinosaurs but he has so much fun making his own creations. You can only build one model Dino at a time - the box shows all the potential builds but you would need 3 boxes to have them all together. Colors are vibrant and fun. I have zero complaints and I will buy these over and over. I feel like they really help with problem solving and dexterity for the little ones. Mom approved!

Keeps the kids hands and mind busy and in a great educational learning experience and cute pieces to look at afterwards. Instructions were easy to follow. My 4-year-old was able to do it. Absolutely no problem. Labeled for the safe age requirements.

He is obsessed with dinosaurs at the moment, and while he can’t quite build these himself yet, he loves seeing the finished product when I put it together. He also loves taking all the pieces apart which is great for his motor skills. These would be a great gift for younger kids!

The 4 year old does a fantastic job of following the instructions and building out the various dinos. After building them a few times she’s taken to free building and is letting her imagination take her to new types of dino builds. She will follow the instructions to a point and then say “daddy what if I did this”, it’s awesome to see her brain work! The 2 year old can’t quite follow the instructions but she loves putting together and breaking apart various bricks while imitating her older sister. We have many Duplo sets but they come back to these because of some of the “fun” bricks (such as the hinge for the Trex mouth or the wobbly neck for the Brachiosaurus). Great fun for young and old!

He has had so much fun building the different dinosaurs. This is a great toy to help him learn how to follow instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Lego Duplo block set from Influenster to try for my honest review. My 3 year old Grandson loved playing with this set. The blocks are bright colors and larger than regular Lego blocks for small hands to manage. They are durable for many hours of playtime and creativity. Dinosaurs were a plus for little boy.

Growing up it was always too close but now they too can play with a beloved brand that I grew up with. It comes with three books that show you how to build each type of dinosaur, very easy to understand. Very good quality material, it entertained my girls for a while and they love changing shapes each time.
