St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Cherry Macaron Kit - Ulta Beauty

i have tried every kind of self tanner you can think of, and what drew me to this one was the packaging and the claim of it smelling nice, which it does- probably the best smelling self tanner i've ever used (and i've used ALOT of different things, from foams to lotions to tanning wipes, drops etc). however, it is definitley not the best for the actual tan. the color was okay, not really orange, but not the best shade. when applying i felt that the mousse was really runny, and didn't really "soak" into my skin, just sat on top. i slept in junky gray pajamas and in the morning they were stained (not a huge deal, but i've used plenty of self tanners with minimal mess on clothes and sheets. this is not one of those.) also, after waiting 19 hours before showering (package says wait 24 hours, to be fair), it almost all washed compeltely off. there was some color, but it was just not dark enough. and as far as streaks go, it wasn't horrible but i have a few spots on my legs and near my armpits that are streaky. i think that may be partly because of quality of the mitt that came with the kit, and also as i said- the product didn't seem to "stick" to my skin during application. will keep this on hand if i run out of my regular self tanner, but i won't use it on a regular basis.

I was searching for a self tanner, and this one was recommended to me. I am so glad I took the recommendation and bought it. It is exactly what I was looking for, clean, smell, smells good, and easy to use.

The body mist smells like a puddle of water, very dingey smell. Ive had dollar body sprays with more of a fragrance. I cant even smell a hint of anything other than water

Excellent product. Absolutely love the color. It was easy to put on, but you absolutely have to buy the net with the fuzzy side in order to blend it. Otherwise love it definitely has a better smile than the regular formulation.

Goes on easy, starts tanning quick and no smell. And no orange!!

I wasnt sure about the tanning foam when i first got it. I was honestly worried that it would settle in my pores and make me look orange, but its the exact opposite; its perfect. I've learned to apply this with either a brush or a mitt, or otherwise it'll soak into my palms. Even after I rinsed it after 8 hours, i still have that gorgeous golden glow! It's magic in a bottle. 10/10

This isnt great at all. I applied 2 coats on thursday and its now sunday and i feel like i lost almost all color. I do notice some color is still there but it looks bad and patchy especially on the legs. It doesnt smell awful… after showering friday morning i thought the color was extremely light as well considering i applied 2 coats.

I bought this for my mother-in-law as a gift. SHE IS WHITER THAN MILK! And with this she got a beautiful tan. She loved it, not sticky, smell is light. Its perfect. Definitely recommend.

This self tanner gives very good color. I was really impressed. I wanted so much to love it because I've never had luck with Self tanners. I have dark spots all over my legs and my arms and usually a self tanner will stick to those areas and make them look more prominent. This did not the only con that I could find is, which did deter me from ordering is the fact that after it was applied and after it's dried it still felt tacky to the skin, and it transferred onto my bedsheets and my undergarments.

I have never self tanned before so I was a little Scared to say the least. So I did some research and this was listed as the #1 product…..and now I know why. Application was so easy, not patch or blotchy and no streaks….and I'm not orange! 5⭐️

I like the color that I get from the tanner but it will only last maybe a week sometimes less. The smell is not great but if used before bed it doesn't bother me. The mitt included is nice for maybe a use or two but will fall apart after that and it doesn't fully cover wrists. The extra hair mist included has a nice smell but doesn't last more than a few minutes.

As someone who is new to self tanning (ive only tried it once before) I found this very easy to use! The self tan smell is still there but if you moisturize after you really dont smell it. Easy to see where its applied for an even tan!

I have only used this once. Application was easy with the brush. Seemed dark but 24 hours later after showering the color was great. Faded gradually but evenly. I did exfoliate first.

When i say run to buy this, I mean RUN. 10/10 all around. The scent is amazing and my tanning assistant (my husband) even said the smell is much better. PSA: the cherry smell does go away in 2 ish hours and you do smell that usual self-tan smell but not as intensely. The color said medium so i was not expecting a beautiful darkish bronze color. Its not orange at all. It also doesn't blotch around the foot, ankles, knees, knuckles, or elbows. I received so many compliments on the color and i will definitely repurchase.

I love this foam tanner because i can see where it is and blending was so easy. The fade was even and gorgeous. No splotching. And it does smell great! There are definitely red undertones but it still looked amazing on me — I have cool undertones The spray is super subtle but definitely refreshing in my hair.

The cherry macaron scent is almost like Japanese cherry blossom, but a bit lighter and more airy. The tanning mousse looks promising as well. I'm so happy.

Smell is the usual horrid self tan scent. These reviews are all incentivized. Works great nice and smooth application, not very dark but good for an allover glow.

I absolutely love the Cherry Macaron fragrance! It's definitely one of my favorite scents for self-tanners. It's so refreshing that it doesn't have that typical self-tanner smell—instead, it's sweet and floral! Plus, the mist is amazing! Overall, I think this is a fantastic product. It applied really easily, especially since I took the time to prep my skin beforehand. The only thing I didn't get was the mitt, but honestly, it's still an amazing experience!
