I bought this after an article rated this lap balm as a good spf option that does not chemical taste. Not true… terrible chemical taste. Can't wear it.

I purchased this lip balm and put it in my purse. I forgot it was there for a few days. I found it the other day while I was at work and I put it on. A while later I licked my lips 🤢🤮I don't understand why they would even sell this product. It took me a while to get it off of my lips. I threw it away as soon as I tasted it.

I love this lip balm. Ive purchased a couple times. I even got my mom to become a fan. Lightweight yet very moisterizing. Its my go to for everyday especially in the summer time. I think it is worth the price. But I have purchased it on sale. So look out for any sales and stock up!

These pros alone had me back at Ulta buying one for my friend before our trip to Mexico. I used it exclusively when at the pool and beach on my trip, re-applying diligently throughout the day, appreciated that it didn't melt in the sun (often a problem with SPF lip balms) BUT after a few days, my bottom lip started to hurt & I formed the worst blistered sunburn I have ever had on my lips. It hurts to eat, to drink, even to smile because it is so badly blistered. I have never had such a bad sunburn on my lips in my life. I will be returning mine & the gift I purchased my friend & would never recommend this to anyone to use for the SPF. I contacted the company directly with the lot number on my lip balm as I almost feel it is defective. (Lot #0725178, exp: 07-2028)

Weird metallic aftertaste.

This is the one i keep in my bag for everyone. My husnabd my kids, i use it too. It has a scew on cap, so it wont come open on its own. I wouldnt say its the best moisturizer out there, but this is the perfect holdover. Just enough for a couple of hours. Its not greasy, not shiney. Its smooth and no taste. Easy on without a mirror.

Somehow drying and greasy at the same time….aftertaste is terribly bitter and as someone with a light to medium skin tone with moderately pigmented lips, the tinted version leaves an ashy cast on my lips. Other than the cute packaging, I literally cannot think of any pros to this lip balm. I'm better off wearing nothing on my lips. For how pricey this is for a lip balm, it is not worth it to me.

The packaging is very good—metal tube that screws on and the product is lasting a long while used multiple times daily, and no noticeable taste. I feel my lips are well-protected and a lightly moisturized, not greasy or sticky. I use a rich ceramide lip moisturizer morning and night which is the only way this works for me. I will try others for daytime spf hoping for something similar but with more moisture as I am a naturally dry body.

This lip balm kept my lips from burning or drying out in the sun.

It's light and doesn't have any smell, I use it for my everyday routine while there's sun outside, I have bought it several times and I'll continue using it, it helps feel my lips hydrated and protected for a long time, and best of all: it's cruelty free.

This lip balm goes on so smoothly, smells and tastes great, and doesn’t melt in the sun as fast as others.

I bought this for my vacation in Mexico. I am very fair and I burn very easily, even my lips. I bought the COOLA for the protection. It absolutely gets an A+ for protection, wear, feel and the great tint. The only reason it gets 4 stars, it could taste better (or not at all). However, it does taste a bit like sunscreen. To me, the benefits definitely outweighs the taste.

I was looking forward to this lip tinted lip balm. It doesn't go on easily and if you have any lotion or other lipstick on , it will ball up. The color doesn't show at all either. I love Coola products but, this one needs some help .

I bought this product because I wanted something that would provide me with both adequate SPF (30 or higher) and had color or tint. The tint in this is not made for someone whose lips are more melanated than the model the company depicts in the ads.

To be clear, this review is for the tinted version of this balm. I HATE that Ulta mixes up versions of products in the reviews! This was my time using a balm with SPF (after an experience where my lips sunburned, of course). This goes on smoothly, and the subtle color worked with my brown skin, which was a worry as I couldn't try before buying. I can't say if it's the case with all lip suncreens (probably), but with this one I found I had to thoroughly moisturize my lips first with another balm before applying this one for the sun protection. I have EXTREMELY dry lips. However, from reading other reviews I gather that even those who don't will experience eventual lip dryness and chapping using product by itself. This is NOT a deal-breaker for me - I have issues using chemical sunscreen on my face, so I get a better result from using a moisturizer then a separate mineral sunscreen rather than some sort of combo product. I don't mind - even prefer - layering on my face, so why should I mind doing in on my lips?

It was alright. I did not really see any difference on me and found it drying on my lips. For the price I don't think it's worth it.

I get really annoyed with most tinted spf lip balms. I don't really want to wear bright red lip orange or pink lip balm to the beach when I don't have on any other makeup. This is the perfect sheer slightly tinted balm that looks nude. And it doesn't have that disgusting sunscreen taste like sun bum. Just wish they had more neutral tinted options, like a nude peach! Also would LOVE a mineral option.

This has a slighty grainy texture and the tint is VERY sheer, pale, and has a cool undertone. This would probably not work well for someone with darker skin or very pigmented lips, but it's fine for me because I'm quite fair.
