Looks great but the texture is simply gummy and rubbery. This can happen with bad yeast, butter, or if there is a freezing problem. Something went wrong here. Not sure what, but this was a huge let dow. After waiting 9 hours before baking, then 17 more minutes to bake and cool, I got nothing edible.

WARNING: Your will not be able to stop eating these
These are phenomenal for frozen croissants. They will add pleasure to your morning coffee. When I set them out to rise the night before, I go to bed dreaming of the ways I will eat them. The people claiming they were raw or chewy did not follow the 9 hour rise time I dont care what the say. You cannot skip that part, not even by attempting to cook them twice as long. The texture will not be flaky or soft. Its not fair to give these a poor rating due to incompetence. I've made these 4 times and they come out perfectly golden, buttery, flakey each time. These would make delicious mini breakfast sandwiches. Similar to the croissanwich that Burger King used to have if anyone remembers those . The chocolate ones from this same brand are just as delicious. Try these out.

Great taste. 10-13 minute bake time suggested is way too short. Most croissant recipes suggest 30 minute bake time at 375-400 degrees F. If you under bake them, they will go flat and be dough like.

I bought these for a Christmas tea, because no fresh ones were available in the bakery section. I was not at all disappointed. They are wonderfully light and bake crisply on the outside. A couple didn't rise well, they were still okay after baking, just not quite as fluffy as the others. As another reviewer points out, they have to rise for nine hours so be sure to take that into account. I will definitely buy again!

Yummy and a bit buttery. So good
These are delicious. Just enough butter taste and just enough air for lightness but not dry. The crust does not crumble when you pull apart or take a bite. I will keep a box in my freezer as a staple. The frozen dough does need to rise overnight so plan on the timing.
