Great walking motion with assistance (doll will not walk on its own). Hard and durable body. Fun crying and laughing sounds. The pacifier is incredibly hard to put in, as opposed to a different version of this doll, it's even hard for adults, so not sure if I got a bad one? Many of these "promotional" reviews recommend for a toddler, but I don't think a toddler can make it walk properly and definitely cannot push in that hard pacifier.

Cute idea but my daughter didn’t like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter already has a few dolls, but none of them are interactive, so I thought she would love this one. Unfortunately, she didn’t. At first glance, the doll looks quite unique — very cartoonish and fun because of her exaggerated proportions. When you remove the pacifier, she starts crying and her eyes light up until you put the pacifier or bottle back. The walking mechanism is actually really cool, but kids need to figure out exactly how to guide her for it to work. Overall, it’s a decent and well-made toy. Sadly, my daughter didn’t like it at all. The crying sound annoys her, and she keeps trying to hide the doll somewhere so she doesn’t have to see it 😅 Even I can’t get a turn to play with it!

My daughter favorite toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter used to ask for a baby sister every single day, and since we got Cry Babies My First Step she is so busy feeding, holding, and talking to it that she almost stopped bringing it up. The doll behaves so realistically that it satisfies that “I want a baby at home” feeling without adding an actual baby to the house. As a product, it feels well-made and survives daily play without parts breaking or seams opening. The battery life is surprisingly decent so it doesn’t feel like a constant chore to replace. The sounds and motions are safe and gentle, not too loud or jerky, but still real enough to feel alive and keep kids entertained. There is also a hidden educational side: it naturally teaches care, patience, and routine through play, while keeping the child genuinely engaged.

Super realistic baby noises
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is pretty awesome, it's very realistic and so cute. She cries spontaneously and you have to soothe her with the binky or the milk bottle, then she makes happy noises. I will say as someone with a 9 month old and a toddler, this doll's cries are very accurate. Sometimes it'll start crying and I'll be looking at my baby and wondering if it was her crying. Gave this to my toddler since she's always trying to take her baby sister's bottle and binky. She loves it and we can teach her how to be responsible!
