Almost amazing

This football is a fantastic idea for a fan of the NFL, but I am disappointed that it does not come in any form of new product packaging to present better as a gift, was shipped literally as a loose football in a shipping box. Additionally disappointing, the football we received has some areas around the Wilson logo which look as though stickers were peeled off the ball in those areas, or there is some kind of damage or possibly as though the ball was already used. Thankfully, it matches the product photo on the website or I otherwise would have returned this, but my young child is expecting this for his bday and I don’t see it for sale anywhere else.
