Poor ergonomics

The ergonomics of the tub are awful. The seat isn’t designed well enough to hold the baby in place especially given the weird angle of the backrest. The foam padding is minimal and the tub is so slippery there’s no grip to stop the baby from slipping off the seat. I’ve tried with both a newborn and a 2 month old and hate the design.

Zero stars

This tub looks great in theory since it would be easy to clean and has a built in drain. But the ergonomics are off and it does not support my baby well in multiple stages. The foam padding is lacking. Snapping the tub back together is also a pain and it often doesn’t line up. The tub is wider than it should be and doesn’t sit inside my bathtub well so I have to use it on the bath floor which defeats the purpose of the convenient drain. I wish I would’ve never put this on my registry and am irritated anytime I’ve tried to give it another chance.

WASTE OF $!!!

Good quality but after about 3 months it’s impossible to keep your baby from slipping off the seat part. Prime example of why you shouldn’t buy the expensive baby items!

Hate loathe I love this brand, but the part where the baby has to lay back is too slippery, and once they are sitting up my baby almost severed his spinal cord when he fell backwards onto the hard edges I’ve never left to review on anything before because I want people to know how dangerous this tub can be and how much I usually love this brand so it pains me to not see more reviews of how dangerous the edges are in the main part of the tub

Game Changer

First bath, with no tub, was a fail! Second bath seemed like a day at the Lalo Baby Spa. She enjoyed the tub experience immensely!

Very poor quality plastic

Straight out of the box there are defects to the plastic. When I took the top insert out of the bottom, the bottom plastic got scratched and wore away. I don't think that plastic that wares this quickly is safe for babies or children. I will be returning this.

Still worth it after 19 months of daily use

I wanted to write a review after 19 months of use, because so many baby product reviews are written after only the first few weeks. We bought this bathtub from the newborn stage, and I’m still so glad we did. I skipped the usual newborn bath accessories and just used this from the beginning. My baby has used it from birth to 19 months, and we still use it daily. It is so much more convenient than filling the full bathtub. The smaller size means the water level can be higher around him, so it stays warmer and feels more comfortable. It also keeps him contained and all his bath toys nearby, which makes bath time easier. Even at 19 months, and with my child being on the taller side, he still fits comfortably. And once he finally outgrows it, I’ll probably use it to store bath toys because the design is elegant enough to leave in the bathroom without it looking like clutter. Overall, this has been one of the rare baby purchases that has truly lasted from the newborn stage well into toddlerhood.

you need this tub

So Im obsessed with this baby bath tub! Quality is amazing , its heavy which in my opinion is what you want in a baby bath so it dont tip or break easily. Its nice looking I love the color .I honestly wish I found this sooner and with all my babies . I originally purchased because my collapsible tub after only 11weeks was just not working for me and was falling apart not folding up and a peice broke off so I was so excited to get this one I ended up buying 2 one for my newborn and one for my 1 yr old they bolth fit in my claw footed bathtub has made bathing the babies so easy now !

Would like to return

This bathtub is for people who don’t have a bathtub we were using the Angelcare and it was so nice because he was still in the tub with it. This one is big a bulky and if you don’t keep it in the huge one it falls back? It’s just not working for us. Would like to return.

Not enough grip

It’s beautiful but my baby slips down a lot. It needs grip not only on the back but on the seat too.

Awesome Tub

Total game changer for bath time! I have a 6 month old and had another tub that felt very unsafe. Now I am not rushing through bath time!

Aesthetic but not functional. .

Very aesthetic minimalist design. I love that and it's less toxic materials! However, my baby is not comfortable at all in this even trying to pad it with a towel underneath her. It's also extremely difficult to get her clean because one hand always has to be holding her up. The design with the curve in the middle is not enough to keep them from slipping down. Just adds uncomfortable pressure to their bottom area. I can't imagine how you could have success with this bathtub design. I so wish it worked.

Cutest and steadiest thing ever!

I spent many hours researching the baby tubs. I used Fisher price one which is quite popular for my first child. The issue I used to have is how unsteady it was and that my child outgrew it fairly fast. When I found Lalo product, I knew it would be the best things! It is very steady and versatile. I can see baby growing and using it for quite some time.

Doesn’t hold baby properly when sitting back

Too small, he kept sliding over the little notch for his bum. The basin also looks like a beverage cooler - doesn’t wow me for amount of money spent

Do not recommend

I really hate to give this a bad review because it’s such a beautiful product, but unfortunately it’s just not practical. The infant insert is the biggest issue—it doesn’t provide enough support, and my baby constantly slides down into the water. I’m not able to bathe her on my own because of this; my husband has to hold her in place while I wash her. The larger tub itself is fine, but even that has limitations. You can’t fill it very high due to the large handle holes on the sides, which makes it less functional overall. I wanted to love this, but it just doesn’t work for us and causes so much frustration.

Barely 3 stars

Not sure how this has 4. 7 stars. Maybe the updated model is better. The version with the thing that goes between baby’s legs is terrible. Ergonomically / proportionately makes no sense at all. The only thing it has going for it is the ability to turn a big tub into a smaller tub with the insert.

Love this bathtub!

I’ve been using the Lalo bathtub with my 10-month-old and it’s been great for this stage. Now that my baby can sit independently, bath time is much easier and more fun. The tub feels very sturdy and well made, and I like that it’s simple to clean. It’s a great option for babies who can sit up and want more room to move during baths. Bath time has become one of our favorite parts of the day!
