Strong scent
Really wanted to love this as I love all other Mustela products we’ve tried. It has a nice powdery scent but I thought it was a bit strong for my newborn so I ended up using it for myself. Overall good, leaves skin moisturized, but the scent will be hit or miss depending on your personal preference.

Mustela Cleansing Gel has been our go-to since my son was a baby, and even now that he’s a big kid, we’re still using it. It’s incredibly gentle on his skin—never causes any irritation—and it smells so good! I love how it leaves his skin soft and clean without drying it out. Dont let the scent scare you
Soooo I got into this brand in 2014. My daughter had some serious eczema. It would look like open sores. So I wanted to give the brand a go in 2024. This scent was a little strange. I had to smell it for a while before I bought it. It has a peppery smell is the best way to explain it. Smelling the bottle was different than washing my son in it. It wasn’t the same. But it was. I do recommend it. The smell is not strong. But sticking your nose in it, it can be. This is coming from someone who wants to choke someone over perfume or essential oils.
