WE THE WILD Instant Sun Full Spectrum LED Grow Lamp for Houseplants

The light is very cute but it definitely needs a timer. It is inconvenient to plug in and unplug it everyday.

Light is cute but continually flashes when plugged in.

I've had the Instant Sun light for my pothos a few weeks now. Bright light, plant likes it, the little lampshade is a nice touch. But the 16hrs on is way too much. It was not specified on the packaging the light interval. But I can plug it in at 7am and it's on continuously til 11 at night. My other grow lights have intervals from 4 up to 12hrs. Disappointing as I got this for a bedroom plant, I don't always want pure supernova energy beaming into my eyes the whole day and more. May have to use this grow light in a far away room.

my plant baby (Nerve Plant) is doing much better with this grow lamp. quick set up, easy to use, adjustable height. will definitely buy another if needed.

I was scared it would be bad quality based on some of the other reviews, but I bought it anyways. I’m glad I did because I love this plant light and so do my plants! Has been a great addition during this gloomy winter, and the plants I have underneath it (string of pearls and amaryllis) are very happy. As you can see from my photo, my amaryllis REALLY loves it 🤣 I highly recommend! Also, I don’t really mind that there’s no timer on it, I just put it on a scheduled smart plug and don’t have to worry about it ever.

The light is pretty bright and the extending pole gets really long, so it works for taller plants too. I personally like how sleek it looks and how long the cord is, that makes it easy to put the lamp in most places. Will be getting more soon.

I had some house plants that normally do well, but this winter it has been so overcast that even putting plants in the window was not enough. We have covered back & front porches which block some of the natural light. This winter I noticed some of my plants turning yellow & looking droopy. When placing them right in front of window didn't help, I ordered this light. It sticks down inside one of the potted plants, but I bunched several other plants up close where the light reflects on several plants at the same time. I've been turning it on every day and have noticed a remarkable improvement. The plants now look healthy and perky. The only downside to this light is it is hard to get it to stand up straight because it is top-heavy so it leans to the side, and it does not have an on/off switch or a timer. But despite those little issues, I am glad I bought it because it is helping my plants to get thru this long winter.

The quality of light is good and works well but for what they are charging for this, it should at least have a light timer on it 🤨

I was excited to purchase this new grow light from We The Wild. I use all of their products and was excited to try some of their new ones. I took it out of the box and how cute is it?!? No instructions anywhere. I put the telescoping stake into the light, which wasn’t easy. As I was walking to my plant, the light fell off the stake and the dome broke!! VERY POOR construction! It should click or lock in. After sadly gluing the pieces that broke off back on I realized THERE’S NO WAY TO TURN IT ON AND OFF!!! The plant I put it in is on a bookshelf with the outlet near the floor. EXTREMELY inconvenient to get on the floor every time to turn it on and off. If it hadn’t broken when I first opened the package I would have returned it. I wanted to buy several of these, since there’s no good natural light for my plants in the interior of my home. I will not be purchasing another one until these issues are resolved. I don’t have $20 to throw away.

The lamp itself is very nice. The stake included is a bit flimsy but is a good length. It doesn't have a timer so I used an Alexa plug for daily on and off.

I actually think this is the first time I have wrote a review so bare with me. I loved that I can place this light in the middle of my plant and light shines down from all sides. I liked that they actually gave me a plug instead of hoping I could plug usb in to whatever I have. What I didn’t like. The pole isn’t connected to the light. And it’s not connected by a bolt either you just have to shove it in and hope for the best. Which shoving barely went in so more like sit in the tight hole. There is no timer so all the talk about having it on for so many hours and the light itself will only last for so long. You’ll have to remember to unplug it. Pretty disappointing when it’s a grow light which I feel should have a timer. But it’s cute!

DOESN’T have the built in timer, so it can be used with a smart plug! The telescoping stake also gets much taller than other lights I have come across.
