Q: Is this doll able to ride the horses easily? I'm wondering if her legs bend in the right way.

  • A: Hi Jenny. All of the Our Generation dolls have legs that rotate at the hips and arms that rotate at the shoulders. Posable dolls also bend at the knees and elbows, while non posable dolls do not. Both our posable and non-posable dolls can ride the horses. Our posable dolls can sit on the horse and their knees can be bent for a better seated fit. Regular dolls, not posable like Carolyn, can be made to straddle all of the OG 20” horses. Thank you. Hat does not stay on. I didn’t want to take off the plastic tag that kept it on but my 4 year old insisted so she could do the dolls hair. Now the hat won’t stay on. The clothes and shoes are a little hard to get on and off at first but get broke in and easier to use for the child independently.

Boots don’t come off, clothes sewn on doll. Cheap clothes. It can’t be put in the bath due to its cloth body.

I can’t really rate the doll because I still haven’t gotten it. I ordered it May 25th with a delivery date of May 29th. Today is June 8th and I still don’t have it. Shipping data is not updated so I have no idea when it will arrive. Completely missed my granddaughters birthday. Do better Target.

She loves that her eyes closed when she laid down and that she could position her extremities. She’s asking now for more accessories and outfits! Perfect gift for a little girl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a sturdy, quality doll. Takes a bit of patience to get her to stand alone. I wish her joints were more flexible as she tends to fall over when put in a sitting position. I like the quality of her hat and boots and that her clothes are tacked on to prevent disrobement if you’d like, or you can simply cut the tacks out. This doll should survive a lifetime of my niece and even my boys playing with it. Good alternative to other more expensive fashion/accessory dolls.

Great Gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these dolls are in an affordable price point and so similar to the other much more expensive name we grew up with in the 90s and 2000s. These dolls have movable bodies and are easily posed and dressed. The outfits are kid friendly and have Velcro to make for easy changing of outfits. Their hair comes styled cute and is easily maintained with a wire brush. The packaging is great for gifting and easily wrapped. Just a few snips with a scissors and your doll is freed from the box and ready to play. I love that they come with fun accessories to match their style. I’m so pleased with the quality in such an affordable budget. My 3 and 5 year old daughters spent hours playing with their new cowgirl Our Generations Doll!

Such a fun awesome doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ashleigh? More like Ash-SLAY! My toddler hasn’t been able to put this doll down since she opened the box! She loves that the doll looks features like her, and that her eyes close when she is horizontal. The doll feels pretty sturdy despite being a solid stuff, and she doesn’t have small parts so she is safe for all my kiddos to play with together!
