Cookie Dough Ice Cream - 48oz - Favorite Day™

This was my all time favorite. As a longtime cookie dough ice cream lover, it WAS amazing. Plenty of cookie dough, flat chips that weren’t flakey, reliable. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK TO THE PREVIOUS RECIPE I dont even care if it costs more. But having the old one for $3.69 and now it’s $4.49 and WORSE??? Literally so insulting. Please please please change it back and keep the price increase I guess if that’s what it takes. Used to be my favorite comfort treat 💔

The original recipe was AMAZING!! Nothing else compared to it, BUT this new recipe is meh. Super disappointed, this was my absolute favorite for years and recommend it to so many people. I think I’ll just buy another store brand since there’s lurking special about it now.

The “new recipe” (a phrase that should strike fear into any loyal consumer’s heart) has stripped away all the joy, leaving behind something that vaguely resembles cookie dough ice cream in the same way a cardboard cutout resembles a human being. The once generous chunks of cookie dough — bold, unapologetic, and full of personality — have been replaced by faint whispers of what used to be. It’s as though the manufacturer stood over the mixing vat and thought, “What if we suggested cookie dough, but didn’t actually commit to it?” After a long day of work, I open the freezer with the weary optimism of a man searching for comfort — only to be met with this pale, half-hearted imitation. It’s like expecting a symphony and getting a kazoo solo. I’m not angry, exactly. I’m disappointed — a far deeper, more existential kind of sadness. This isn’t just a new recipe; it’s a betrayal of flavor, texture, and trust. If the old version was a love letter to cookie dough, this one is a curt text that just says, “k."

Times are getting bad when your favorite ice cream has 1/10th amount of cookie dough and they serve you caulking paste disguised as vanilla ice cream

I’m so disappointed - this used to be my absolute favorite, but they clearly changed the recipe and thought we wouldn’t notice lol. The old version was creamy, rich, and full of cookie dough bites. Now it tastes different, barely any cookie dough. Just isn’t the same. Petition to bring back the original recipe!

Wow ! You guys did horrible this ice cream was really good and now it barely has cookie dough and it taste completely different. The moment I saw the change in the packaging picture I immediately said to my “I just hope it still taste the same” and guess what I got super disappointed. And on top of that the price went up and we’re not even getting what we use to shaking my head wow

They recently changed something about packaging, and clearly quality as well. This new ice cream tastes like plastic, there’s almost no cookie dough at all, and is shockingly gross compared to the previous version. I will not be buying this ice cream. It might be the cheapest option, but I’d rather pay twice the price for something that doesn’t tastes like chemical paste.

I absolutely love this ice cream. I personally prefer it over the Byers version
