i actually really loved the smell of the body wash and really liked it. Unfortunately it has given me and my two daughters very very itchy skin.

Rating - 3/5 (Pretty average) Scent: Very pretty scent that is slightly more unique than other body washes on the market. It smells like a neutral mandarin orange. It’d say it’s a very tame version of Saltair’s Exotic Pulp. It’s not strong, but also not long lasting. I pair this with Nest’s Seville Orange body spray and Beekmans Orange Honey Blossom hand cream. Overall, if you’re looking for a citrus-y wake me up that isn’t going to stick with you after the shower, I recommend it. Sensitivity: The fragrance is enough to potentially irritate skin. My sensitive skin didn’t burn as it does with brands like Ouai, but some existing dry patches didn’t take kindly to it. Moisturizing: It’s mid. It’s not super moisturizing where you can get away with not using a lotion or hand cream, but not super drying where it’s super noticeable. Extra benefits: This body wash states it has Caffeine, Ginseng, and Vitamin C. Online, it advertises that it also has 12-HSA and is paraben and sulfate free. For the price point, the added benefits are nice, although not dramatically noticeable. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s nothing to write home about either. It’s a great option if your price point limits you to drugstore options, but if you’re looking for something specific (more scent, moisture, or sensitive skin friendly) I’d recommend finding a body wash that is more focused in those areas.

It has ginseng, caffeine, and vitamin c to brighten your skin and mood. The scent isn’t too strong and lingers on your skin. The bottle is 17oz with a pump, helpful if you have children. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Olly Bright Mood+Skin body wash, it has a very uplifting scent which I'm attributing to the vitamin c it includes in the formula. The body wash also contains ginseng and caffeine, and when washing with it, it had a very luxurious lather which rinsed easily and cleanly without any sort of film, and did not dry out my skin. It claims to make crepey skin look more taught, which it did....for a short amount of time after my shower. I did enjoy this body wash, and would recommend it, but not for in the winter for dry skin. I think it's a strange market to enter but I was excited to try the products. I usually use the Bath & Body Works shower gels and my experience with the OLLY body wash was very similar to that of B&BW. The Bright Mood + Skin is supposed to smell like juicy citrus, red currant, and gardenia. To me, it smells like a sweeter and fruiter version of grapefruit, leaning towards a mango type scent. I enjoy the scent, but if you are someone that doesn't like grapefruit scents because they remind you of body odor, you may want to try a different scent in the OLLY line. The product lathered really nicely and rinsed off well. My skin felt soft, hydrated, clean, and residue free. I can't say I noticed any skin brightening benefits like they claim, but I also wasn't expecting that from a body wash. That's a benefit I would expect more from a moisturizer, a chemical peel, or a laser treatment. I'm also not sure what the benefits are of placing caffeine in personal care items, especially when they get rinsed off a few minutes later. OLLY could probably remove this ingredient and save some costs. I really like the packaging. Most of the body washes I use don't come with pumps, so it was really nice to use a bottle with one. No more fumbling with wet and slippery bottles in the shower. I also really liked the color of the bottle. It reminds me of summertime, which puts me in a good mood. The bottle also has a slight rubber/matte texture to it, which felt nice to the touch and also prevented the bottle from being too slippery in the shower.
