Q: Following earlier ques - if the only difference is the scent, then the "moisturizing," "volumizing," and "strengthening" language is just marketing and not actual differences among the conditioners?

submitted by Lauren - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Lauren, Thank you for reaching out and we apologize if we caused any confusion. To confirm, while the scent is consistent with our products, our haircare line does perform differently for each category, therefore they are not all the same and used as a marketing approach. We hope this clears it up.

I have tried using the moisturizing conditioner for a while. I like the scent, but it's impossible to rinse out of my hair and leaves my hair looking very dirty. I use the shampoo and that is fine.

This particular formula has started causing my hair to fall out. I'm seeing it come out in chunks every time I wash my hair. I was very satisfied with a different Native shampoo and conditioner formula, but after this I will probably never again use Native for Shampoo and Conditioner.

This is the worst conditioner I have ever used and I mean EVER. This smells like a discount bin car air fresher. I bought through target pick up so I didn’t smell it before purchase but I thought hmmm… coconut and vanilla come on how could someone mess that up? Big mistake. Now listen I have dry skin, hair and nails just to set up how bad this is.. I have greasy hair after like one day with this product. Also this “conditioner ” if you can even call it that leaves the hair very heavy like it feels likes you have products in after a wash. Also I only put conditioner on the ends of my hair and they’re dry. Do not buy this junk unless you want stinky greasy hair.

I love the smell! I wasn’t so sure about how I liked it for my curly hair. I immediately loved the shampoo. I’m hoping that it continues to moisturize my hair well. Currently I have been blowing out my hair with a blow dryer brush and needed hair products that didn’t make my hair brittle. So far so good!

Its amazing. Not the softest my hair has ever felt, but close to it. But even then, the smell ABSOLUTELY MAKES UP FOR IT. Ohmygod it smells so good. I also used the sugar cookie body wash and, not even making this up, if someone blindfolded me and said it was a cookie, I would have zero doubts it is. Overall the best smelling soap I have ever used, 5 stars all around. Oh and no, my hair did not fall out like many people are saying.

Been using this for years and they must’ve changed the formula because I went into the shower with smooth, freshly brushed and fully detangled hair. After using the shampoo my hair was still smooth. The MOMENT I put the conditioner in, my hair started to tangle up. It took me thirty minutes to brush it through and I lost clumps of hair. Throwing away immediately!!

I absolutely love this shampoo. I have been on the hunt for a good shampoo and conditioner and this is it. Makes my hair soft, bouncy, shiny and easy rinse. Oh and you don't have to use a ton of product. A couple of pumps for my medium length hair works. I have a lot of hair but it's fine so I love how I don't need additional product to brush it out. This product I will be purchasing again

Native is the absolute worst brand my family has ever tried! Like you, we were brain washed into using this brand by how luxurious hair looks in the ads. Plus overloading the shelves with it! Well, it’s all a lie! I have 5 daughters and we all tried different types of their shampoo/conditioners. The one for curly hair is the worst of them all! All types gave us itchy scalp, dandruff and DRY hair! It gave all of my daughters a rash on their neck, chest, back and legs. It did not take ANY tangles out but made our hair worse, probably from sucking all the moisture out. Our hair also fell out so much!!! I don’t mean just a few extra pieces, we’re talking handfuls! Oh, and the scent does not stay in your hair! Stay away from all of their products! What a waste of shelf space.
