Works great but the applicator does not!
Love the smell and it works! Hate that the applicator twist bottom has been broken since the start and it constantly twists around and doesn’t stay put. Also hate that this stained my bright blue button down shirt leaving a dark mark in the armpit. I’m going to stick with it and buy a new applicator. We’ll see!

I find it interesting reading the reviews. I sweat ALOT sadly.. and this has been amazing. 12 hours later I still smell it.. no sour/B-O smell like most basic deodorants. I’ve had.. maybe the scent chosen made it smell that way? (Vanilla/coconut has been great) Reviews about inserting the cartridge and having to “smash” it but they must not have looked on the how to. As it opens from the bottom. So no smashing at all. Super easy. It’s a mix of a normal types of deodorant and a waxy application which I was hesitant but love it now!

Itchy
Like the concept, super cute packaging, smells nice but it makes my armpits very itchy. I’m not sure what in it is causing it but it also happened to me with cherry blossom. I’m back to dove even tone.

Fresh Cotton & Seasalt is the bees knees
I’m honestly SHOOK of all the negative reviews. I’ve always used Secret clinical strength and by noon I was smelling off. I have been wearing this for two days now and I chase around a toddler, go into work, walk on an incline at lunc for thirty min and I still smell fresh afterwards. I’m not sure if it’s how you are using it or if you aren’t cleaning your pits to begin with that is causing a product failure for those with negative reviews but this is by far my FAVORITE deodorant that has worked for me. A+++ in my book. Please don’t ever get rid of fresh cotton and sea salt!

I like that it's sustainable packaging, and aesthetically pleasing, but the product itself just doesn't work. It's nice initially, but I will smell horrible halfway through the day and I don't even sweat that much. Also it's really difficult to put the refill in, you literally have to smash it down and get deodorant all over your hands. I'm not interested in paying more than double the price of my normal dove deodorant and still smell. Can't even reapply it because the packaging is pretty large and not realistic to take on the go.

Great product!
I feel good about using aluminum free deodorant. It’s a little pricey for the container and refill but after that you only need the refill. I bought the Fresh Cotton and Sea Salt, which I really like, in March and it’s been 2 months and I’m still not ready for a refill. It does go on a little messy but that’s how aluminum free deodorants are in my experience. I just work with it because I know it’s better for me.

The cute container was the only good thing about this product. Very chalky application, scent doesn’t last, felt like I spelled musky. Stains your clothes! Had to throw away my work scrub top because this deodorant stained the inside and the outside of the pit area. Never had a deodorant do this especially after one day of use. Will never buy this product again.

Cute but expensive for it not to work.
The smell was ok but very potent and very essential oil smelling. It only lasted about 8-10 hours when I was not sweating or doing much. Unfortunate because I work in healthcare so there is no way this would hold up at work. Putting the refills in is annoying and mine almost broke in half trying to get it out of the packaging. The tin is cute but you have to bring the deo stick down to get the lid on all the way. The best thing about this deodorant is it wasn't itchy and it was moisturizing. If you never have body odor and like essential oils this is for you. If you sweat, definitely not for you.

I’m honestly shocked at how much I’ve been enjoying this deodorant. I absolutely love the clean scent of the cotton and salt. I was using native for a couple of years and that made me stink big time lately, and my armpits would be so wet on hot days. Not with this one tho! I bought it on a whim and I am so happy that I did. I was going to order some expensive deodorant on line, glad I took the chance with Wild! There is a white cast on it, so you do have to be careful with dark clothing.

Maybe the quality is different if you purchase directly from Native?
I'm really surprised by the negative reviews. Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt is one of Wild's best smelling fragrances and it lasts all day. No bad odors and the packaging is so nice. One refill has lasted me a month of a daily use and is still going. I switched over as a former 10 year Native customer when they changed ingredients and I started getting rashes. I'm so pleased with Wild and will continue to use them.
