Easy build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so easy to build. The hardest part was waiting for the smart brick to charge (even though it wasn't long). My son loved blowing able to add sound with the smart brick. He really enjoyed it.

Father Son Bonding Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego Star Wars Mos Eisley set was was so fun putting together with my son. The instructions were clear and easy for him to understand and the pieces were packaged in individual step by step bags to streamline assembly and it even comes with a nifty tool to help pop apart parts if you mess up. With multiple moving parts and figurines it makes for a whole scene of fun. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing!

I think the SMART play feature is unique, but I dont understand why every set doesnt include the smart brick. It should be included in every set or able to purchase separately. This is definitely a good activity for families.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight. Instructions were simple enough my son and partner spent hours building a few not really big considering the price and some pieces seemed really finicky. Other than that great toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow my son loved this set!! Not bad to put together and the cute little furniture and detail is adorable! He spent hours playing with the little figures in the cantina and using the smart play to play some sound and music. The sound isn’t super loud and obnoxious, which I appreciate. It came with so much in the set to create the whole cantina that I thought it was a great value. Not heavy and sturdy enough to play with. We loved it!

The size was just right. It didn’t have to many pieces and I’d easy to display. He loved the interactive pieces that worked with his smart brick from another kit. I think it’s a good value, but some may think it’s a little pricey since you have to purchase smart brick separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These smart block Legos are so much cooler than when I had Legos. They are easy to assemble with easy instructions, and include a tool now to help remove pieces if you make a mistake. My son loves the smart block as it makes noises and plays music as you play with it. This one connects each piece to make it one pice or you can do them separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lego smart play Mos Eisley Cantina is such a cool interactive lego set. The lego set is very detailed and has a lot of features. There are so many hidden features that you can find while playing with the set. For example the little chairs have levers that eject the lego people out of them. There's a secret door and also a mixing bowl that moves and so much more. My eleven year old daughter had fun putting it together. She was able to do it on her own without any difficulty. The logo pieces also make noise if you have the smart play brick. Overall, it's a really great lego set,my daughter had a lot of fun putting it together and playing with all the neat features.

Why so many 3-star reviews? These Smart Brick sets are 5-star sets. We were as skeptical as anyone: high prices, and a tech that was hard to understand from the box or even online descriptions. What is it again?! But wow—turns out to be fun, genuinely innovative, and very well executed. Our 6-year-old son loves LEGO and will happily tackle sets whether they’re labeled 18+ (with a little help) or 8+. But before Smart Brick, he’d often admire a finished build for a few minutes and then ask for the next one. Smart Brick changed that. Sound has added a whole new layer of play to LEGO. This Mos Eisley Cantina set, using the same rechargeable Smart Brick from our prior TIE Fighter starter set, has turned into hours of play. And he’s only seen a LEGO fan version of the original film to date. I also didn’t fully appreciate how clever the technology was until we used it. This isn’t just prerecorded sound clips. It’s sound synthesizer paired with tag recognition, motion recognition and a surprisingly powerful speaker. The sounds change based on movement, characters, and proximity. That’s a lot more inventive than people seem to realize. This Cantina set is extra fun because of the musical instruments and social energy. Sure, for original fans, it would have been nice to include Gan or Chewie as minifigures, but the tags and character choices they made are still clever and playful. Bottom line: if you judge this only by piece count, you may miss the point. If you judge it by play value, creativity, and innovation, it’s really Lego at its best and getting better.

A Star Wars fan dream build!

The smart play bricks are new to us and we were loving all the sounds that came from the characters and scene. This set does not come with a smart brick so this is something to keep in mind!
