Not as nice as others I've tried.
I cut pills daily and need to replace my cutter regularly because the blades wear out over time. This is my first time trying this brand and it's just not as nice as some of the others I've used in the past. The pill holding area is kind of slippery so it's hard to get and even cut. I do like that is snaps closed.

Don't waste your money or your costly prescription!
Piece of junk. If this is updated design, hate to see the old one. or maybe this old one and that's what they sold me. Literally crushes an already scored pill. Will return on my next visit, for principle if nothing else. I don't know why it has any decent reviews at all. Ruined two prescription pills that then had to be discarded. Would give zero stars if I could. Glad I kept my old cutter purchased elsewhere.

Perfect for cutting my dog’s meds in half.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog was prescribed a heart medication, and the instructions tell me to give her half a pill. This pill cutter has been extremely helpful in cutting her pills in half. Previously, I was using a knife and the pill would sometimes fly off the table. This pill cutter keeps the pill contained once the lid is closed. You do have to make sure the pill is lined up just right in the cutter to get it cut correctly.

Crushes pills half the time
Title sums it up. This pill cutter crushes half the pills I try to cut. Maybe it’s the type of pill I’m cutting, but I’m over it. Pushing down too slow crushes the pill. Pushing quickly to “snap” it closed gets you 50/50 results. Sometimes, you end up with two perfect halves. Other times, you end up with one perfect half, and the other half is falling apart to dust. I just wanted to cut my pills easily and evenly without turning it into powder.

Sturdy, easy to use pill cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pill cutter that I receive from my pharmacy breaks so easily, so I was so glad to find this pill cutter because just taking it out of the box, I could tell it was more sturdy than my previous one. I also love that there are little notches where the pill goes so the notches hold the pill in place and doesn’t move around when you need to press down to cut.

Safe and convenient pill cutter for easy dosing

Sometime I only need a half dose and this has been a huge help. I used to use a knife, which was not only unsafe but also inconvenient since I’d often lose the other half. The finger guard helps protect my hands from the blade and it cuts pills cleanly and safely. I highly recommend this.

Small, Handy Pill Cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a medication I need to split and have tried several pill cutters. This one is not bad. I appreciate the safety feature of the blade being covered when you open it. It is designed so that it will "hold" the pill in place while you lower the blade to cut it, but I found that it doesn't hold that well and slips easily. What I love about this pill cutter is that it snaps shut, so you can use it as a container for pills as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take a bazillion meds, and I use my pill cutter each night. This model actually works well. I would prefer having a piece to push the pill towards the top under the blade, but this will be fine. Also would be nice would be a dual blade, whete the top and bottom have blades that make a super clean cut. But, this particular cutter will be just fine for my needs. It did cut a pill evenly without too much slipping around, so I'll give this 5 stars.

Do you like your pills cut unevenly? Do you enjoy having pill crumbs all over your counter? Do you find top heavy things that fall over to be amusing? Do you want to spend twice as long cutting pills as you did with the old one that got dull? Do poorly made devices with weak hinges spark joy for you? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the pill cutter for you. Shame on whoever designed it. Shame on Target for selling it.

Cuts pills easily
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been in need of a pill cutter since I have some large vitamins that I take daily, so I was glad to try the up& up pill cutter in exchange for my honest review. I was able to easily and safely cut my pills in half. It was very straightforward and worked perfectly with minimal effort. Given the type of pill, there was some powder from where it was cut, but that wasn't the fault of the cutter. Great option!
