[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent these by Influenster. They are effective. The have a layer on the back that blocks incoming light. Since the layer is white it reflects back sunlight also making the room cooler. Easy install, just slide them onto the rod.

They block the light very well! These are currently hanging in one of our bedroom windows and it looks very nice and keeps the sun away better compared to our other brand curtains. In the last photo, a flashlight is being shown directly against the curtain and you cannot see the light through it at all, only from the sides which were lifted from the wall. The material is very nice, not too thick to make the curtain rod bend but also not too thin to allow the light through. The curtains have a nice sheen from the inside and is a nice neutral shade which helps open the space while keeping the sun at bay in the morning. The grommets are smooth as well on the rod and do not catch. It is a breeze to close these. Overall, I would recommend these curtains to those who need complete darkness to sleep!

They add a lovely pop to the room. The quality is excellent as well. They're thick and do a great job of blocking out light, which has made a big difference for sleeping in and keeping the room cooler during the day. Packaging was neat and secure. From a functional standpoint, they are lined with a thermal layer. The design was lacking as well for me. Up close the design looked like a Minecraft pixelation and I would not use these in a living space..
