Not wood as advertised
Though the description says it's "natural wood" it is NOT wood but metal with a vinyl sticker which looks like wood on it. Thus, I don't recommend if you are looking for Wood, otherwise, I'm sure it's perfectly functional but I will be exchanging it for something else

“Wood” finish appears to be printed and not actual wood. The screws that come with the kit do not fit well into the anchors. Not super high quality but that’s to be expected given the price. I kept 1 for a hidden area in my home but I would not have this hanging in a visible area.

Safety issues!
This is a cute curtain rod but the hardware included did not work—specifically the plastic pieces that screw into the wall. If you use them and slightly pull your curtains, the whole rod will fall out of the wall and onto you. I had some spare IKEA pieces I used instead and that made it safe to use. But since this is a kids item parents should be aware!
