Now after tasting, There’s a taste that I can’t describe, but unfortunately, I was not a fan. I do taste the peanut butter/jelly that comes thru which is good. At times, it felt and tasted chalky and i cant get over that. I tried to love it but it fell short. I would keep this handy for emergencies though.

It’s plant based but it really didn’t taste like P&J. It’s was a bit chalky and gritty. The jelly wasn’t very noticeable aside from that it did hold off till my next meal great for a light snack or whenever you get those cravings.

The sugar was low, the taste was good and the texture was not off putting. It definitely tasted better than it looked and it smelled good and was energizing. I loved the compact size and flavor.

Love the sweet coating of icing on the bar can taste the nuts but not over powering. Cannot taste sny jelly at all. It's ot a level all by its self, not like other protein bars I've yeasted. Starting with the flavor, I was pleasantly surprised by how accurately it mimicked a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. By the time i finally finished chewing i kind of tasted pb&j but it was not a good taste. Packaging made it seem like it was going to be better.

As a self proclaimed sugarholic, all TRUBAR bars that I've tried are delicious. These are no different. So delicious and taste so strikingly close to an actual pb&j. No dry protein bar taste at all. Perfect on the go and taste amazing (keep in mind that I adore sugar - if you don't than these might not be for you!)

They have a frosting type on the bar which doesn’t taste too bad, but the regular bar is too grainy for me which is overpowering the flavor. My kids don’t seem to mind it as much. I’d buy for them every once in a while but not for myself.
