The flavor is surprisingly rich for turkey—well-seasoned with a nice balance of savory spices, though it’s a bit milder than classic sausage. The texture cooks up nicely, staying moist without getting greasy, which I really appreciated when making breakfast sandwiches and scrambles. It doesn’t quite have the same depth or indulgence as pork sausage, but that’s expected, and it still delivers enough flavor to feel satisfying. Overall, it’s a convenient, leaner option that doesn’t sacrifice too much taste, especially if you’re looking to cut back on fat without giving up a hearty breakfast staple.

They tested pretty good though the smell good whenever cooking there were salty, but not too salty. It was easy to separate and it was pretty fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Influenster and Jimmy Dean for letting me try this in exchange for my honest review. I have never tried any sort of turkey bacon or turkey sausage before. It just never sounded or looked like it would be good. And when I opened the is and compared it to the regular sausage, I wasn’t very hopeful. The regular was sticky when I cut it and easy to shape. This was wet and firm. When I cooked them, the turkey sausage stayed firm, didn’t want to squish down, and let out a lot of moisture. It shrank quite a bit and did not want to brown off like the regular sausage. When it was done it was not the size I had intended to use in a biscuit sandwich. So I just tried it. At first I was pretty surprised that it tasted better than I had expected. But after a few small bites, it just seemed mostly peppery. I think it would be good in a breakfast burrito or crumbled it scrambled eggs, but I wouldn’t eat it by itself again.

It has less grease and less grease tasting. Has a nice flavor. Great for a breakfast or even mixing with tacos or tortillas. Sauces are amazing on top of it. I would’ve never tried this if it wasn’t for influenster. I’m so glad that I picked this mission and found something new for my family. We all enjoyed it in different ways. Fresh and the seasoning was perfect. No aftertaste. Will definitely be buying this instead of regular sausage from now on so I can enjoy meals with my family.

I used this turkey sausage as the base for my zuppa toscana (olive garden copycat) and it turned out amazing! Most sausage comes with pork ingredients like fat/casings but this was totally allergen free which we really appreciate. I added some seasonings with garlic, red chili flakes and fennel seeds and it tasted just like Italian sausage!

But when I did finally find it, I decided to make an Italian soup using the cooked crumbled turkey sausage, zucchini noodles, tomatoes, and seasoning. It turned out delicious. It is a little bit drier than pork sausage but has a great flavor without as much fat. It smelled great while cooking and went beautifully in the soup. I would absolutely buy it again for soups or casseroles!

I am not a turkey sausage eater but I had never tried this brand nor type. But when I got this a tried it it was not too bad nothing I would eat or buy again but trying it was ok. It made no grease which was healthier and cooking it was easy. It also smelled so good but again not my type and I’m not a fan of turkey sausage so it’s not anything I would buy again.

There was way less grease than when cooking with regular sausage. It broke apart nicely, wasn’t stringy, and didn’t have the harder chunks sausage can sometimes have. It looked and tasted great!

I added my own bit of spice with chili flakes and seasoning before turning it back into the mini patty form. Perfect healthier option from the pork variety. I might just purchase this turkey version again next time I go for breakfast sausage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, Jimmy Dean, I see you now! This sausage was amazing. It was easy to fry up into patties, took 10-15 minutes. Sometimes turkey products have a unique (and unwanted to me) flavor, but this didn’t have that at all. The flavor is incredible and it made for a slightly healthier option than its pork counterpart, which I appreciate. I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be purchasing it again!

Always comes out great and the texture is spot on without those gritty grainy pieces some of the other brands tend to have. It has such a nice fresh pork flavor that also goes great in sausage gravy!
