The chance is higher if you:: are age 60 or older,take more or for a longer time than directed,have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems,take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug,take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs [aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others],have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product.

Directions

Adults and Children 12 Years and Over

Take 4 to 8 tablets every 4 hours; do not exceed 48 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.

Children Under 12 Years

Do not use unless directed by a doctor.

Store at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F); excursions permitted between 15 degrees - 30 degrees C (59 degrees - 86 degrees F). See end flap for expiration date and lot number. Avoid excessive heat and humidity.

The majority of that time, I’ve taken Ecotrin, and I have to say it’s my favorite brand of low-dose aspirin for a few reasons. First, it’s a trusted brand - Ecotrin promotes itself as the number one cardiologist recommended aspirin. I love that the pill is so tiny. I have a difficult time swallowing large pills. It’s also enteric coated, so this minimizes any stomach discomfort that aspirin may cause. And I have taken it in an empty stomach, and I’ve never had a problem with stomach irritation. It really is a great value.

Great for back pain!
