Clippers Stopped Working After Ten Minutes

We bought this through Target. It arrived today, and we were halfway through shaving our dog when the clippers just stopped working. We plugged them in to charge, and left them for over an hour. The light is green, but the clippers will not turn on again. The vacuum still works great, but it isn't much use without the clippers to shave his hair.
