The fan is fine. The remote is poor. I have two other new Hunter fans and remote is much better. Hit or miss if this fan remote works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only good thing i can say about this fan is that it looks good. It took 1.5-2 hours to install this. The buttons for the fan on the remote don't seem to do anything. When the fan is running it seems to lose power and just eventually slows down almost to a stop so I'm guessing the motor is bad in this brand new fan. The light is also very dim even on it's brightest setting.

The setup and controls were easy. The airflow is stronger than expected. We will be purchasing more of these for the rest of our house.

Installation went great, only gripe my husband said is it would be nice if the wire to the receiver wasn’t black so it would have been easy to see. Love the super fast speed, it’s very quiet. Dimmable light is a nice bonus. Nice and neutral look for our bedroom. Sits nice and high to the ceiling. Only thing I’d personally change is to have a wall mount for the remote, but not a big deal.

We had a smaller, outdated fan there before, and this one exceeded all my expectations. It has a remote to control it, and even has different fan modes for hot and cold air.

Fan was easy to install, and on high produces a lot of breeze. It has a slight wobble on medium and high speeds, but nothing significant.

I spent a whole afternoon one Sunday, looking at ceiling fans, reading reviews. I kept going back to the Hunter Zayden fan. I really didn’t want silver or black, but the reviews seemed to be the best I’d seen. So, I ordered a black fan. This fan not only looks incredible in my living room, but the movement of air it generates is mind boggling. I am so happy with this purchase! I’d recommend to all, stop looking, the perfect ceiling fan is Zayden . You couldn’t possibly be disappointed!

The Hunter Zayden 52" fan is just the perfect size. The fan blades are visually appealing and match the aesthetics of a recently remodeled share space between the kitchen and family room. I love how quiet the fan is, even on the highest setting. This is our 5th Hunter Douglas fan install and my husband noted installation was standard- less than an hour and a half. Having a remote for our fan, based on the electrical set up, was a requirement as well. Now if only my family stops losing the remote! Great fan from a brand I have used numerous times in the past.
