It was easy to put together, I have a small apartment and it fits just right in the space I have. However, it's to short for a taller person to sleep on and the cushions are almost non-existant. It's very hard and you can absolutely feel the frame. My 13 year old niece slept on it and said that it was uncomfortable. She said that she could feel the seam that separated the back of the futon cushion and the cushion for the seat. The cushions in the picture look much fuller than they really are. I'm on a budget so the price was right but now I will either have to spend more to try to make it more comfortable or just deal with it. If you are going to have to sleep on this regularly, be prepared to try to pad it up for more comfort. It does feel like a sturdy frame though and the arm rests do adjust like the picture. It is easy to adjust from a sofa to a bed.
