Not worth the moeny nor time soent building it

I wish I could give negative stars! The pictures make this look like a beautiful bed! It is tiny! Maybe 3.5 feet tall! Definitely not a "fort underneath" unless your using it for a toddler not a child. The bed is flimsy particle board and not worth the price! The product came damaged with the wood bowed in so the bottom where the drawers are supposed to go in they can not be pushed in as the top board sinks and doesn't allow for it to align to close. So we can't install the 3 drawers. The "curtains" are 4 small tarp like material with a strip of Velcro on it to hang up. They don't fit the length of the opening so they look weird and don't allow for the ends to be closed even with 2 pieces of the curtain installed it has big gaps. The "chalk board" is NOT A CHALK BOARD. My son tried drawing on it this evening as my husband spent 5 hours putting this disaster together. Nothing was labeled properly, they sent 27 extra screws and dowels so he was very confused on where they went and why. In the wood where you install the screws all over the bed frame to put it together they don't give anything to cover the screw head so you have small circle silver screws as a "design" all over the bed that are very visible to everyone. The pictures make this bed look TALL and with DEEP DRAWERS these drawers are very very shallow, we would have never been able to use them as what we were planning for had they been able to be installed and useable! But they would probably work to hold socks in one drawer, undies in one drawer and maybe a few Jammies in the 3rd drawer if you get usable drawers! BUT I suggest saving your money and buying something different this bed is NOT worth the $400+ we spent on it! This would be an ok bed for a small child like aged 2-6. The wood is so thin and flimsy I would not trust the weight of a kid more then 50-60 pounds up there with a mattress on it. Assemble my is NOT quick or easy. Each part has be be built and it comes in hundreds of pieces.
